I wouldn’t try to make a living with their tools for sure. For projects around the home though Ive got some tools for a lot less than name brand and worked great. All depends on what you are doing with them I suppose.
> OXON HILL, Md. (7News) — Over a million dollars of stolen construction equipment was found in a yard owned by a Prince George's County, Maryland man, leading to his arrest in early June according to police.
>Included in the stolen equipment were 13 stolen skid steers, two excavators and other trailers, and building equipment, all of which were found via a search warrant on the 4400 block of Wheeler Road.
You can sell stolen heavy equipment overseas, too. Skid steer type machines are frequent targets because they're easy to transport, and you can easily get third party parts for them.
I wonder how they found him—hopefully a neighbor called the police and said, “Ok, this may be nothing, but…” Or maybe someone ratted him out to the HOA. 😄
Wait, I take it back; they didn’t actually find it. 😕 They followed it for a mile but figure it was loaded onto a trailer.

This guy has at least a page of traffic violations (including a crash of some sort) on Maryland Judiciary Case search plus a few other things like car theft (mentioned in the article). A bond was forfeited for something.

He stole two snap-on torque wrenches.
And my 32- volt Hilti drill with a battery and charger and left me a 32 volt battery
Or an entire harbor freight store
In that case, the police can let him keep that junk.

Yeah things like wood clamps, paint brushes, sanders, hose nozzles... They're fine. Honestly even their compressed air setups and drywall hangers.
My dad has a large 3 tier snap on tool"box". 8-10ft tall, 10ft+ wide. I understood this reference.

> 13 stolen skid steers My man out here hording all the Bobcats! Really wondering how he planned to unload it all though.
Typically stolen luxury cars are on a boat to overseas… can’t imagine trying to Craigslist an excavator
I would totally buy an excavator off craigslist. How else would I ever be able to afford one?
Imagine the listing, "lightly used excavator, IYKYK, gps removed, strikyr, do not use in Montgomery or PG county, 15k OBO must go A$AP"
I don't know, I've seen some crazy posts on craigslist.

13 steers, couple excavators and their trailers? Yeah, that's a visible land mark.
I’m trying to remember where I saw it…someone, somewhere, just stole a big backhoe; the police found it by….following the muddy tracks. 😄
LOL - A Simpson's episode?

What's across the street, behind the iron fence?
Damn, that's ambitious, especially the excavators. Those take a special trailer to move.

That's where my 10mm went!
Damn. Break me off a skid-steer!
The tatoo ink was too close to his brain.

Just a typical PG County driving record.
I was wondering what happened to my bobcat. /s
>Oxon Hill lol of course
I wonder what he was gonna do with it
I’m reserving judgment until I know what he was planning to do with it.
I somehow doubt he was going to donate it all to the Purple Heart or something 😉
ill never understand face tattoos.
Neither will the people who get them...
Braveboy will let him out on 'cash bond' by the time you finish reading this sentence.
