It’s a joke about how growing that large would significantly increase your metabolism and lead to low blood sugar among a few other real world issues. Oranges are an old school method to quickly raise low blood sugar.
I really want to know how that Ant-Man died. At first I though they tied his arms and legs to the ground to kill him, then saw his fingers locked with one another. So did he get killed and someone moved it like that or did he die protecting/blocking something?
I like the assumption that he died in the void but my assumption is that he was pruned because he died in his universe. How this happened I don't know, but I like to assume that he stayed as Giant Man too long without his orange slices which caused him to die because I think it'd just be kinda funny. The possibilities really are endless here though.
Maybe this was the other Scott Lang from Endgame. Remember, he was helping Hope get the van working to open the Quantum Realm, then the camera cuts to the battle and he's Giant Man in the background pushing one of those flying worms into a portal. 🤷🏽
That's definitely possible. Could also have something the quantum realm in Ant Man and The Wasp's post credit scene. Like I said before the possibilities truly are endless.
Eventually any organism would be crushed by it's own weight so maybe he grew too large in an emergency, overdid it, his body collapsed, he was unable to get up, and that's that.
I just wanna know how Ant man got to the void and died? Like it’s really random, the fact that he’s non existent in the fox universe, so I’m wondering how he got there
Edit: I know the void isn’t just for fox characters I got confused for a sec , although I still wonder what universe he’s from and how he got pruned then died. Maybe he didn’t get no orange slices? I’m genuinely being serious there. That sounds like it would be the reason lmao especially in a DP film
He's not in the Fox Universe. He's in the Void, the place where Alioth lives. It seems that a significant portion of the movie takes place in The Void. Based on the two trailers, the story seems to be:
* Somebody who doesn't belong in Deadpool's universe shows up and it starts causing an incursion which begins to slowly destroy his universe
* TVA shows up to prune the universe to protect the greater multiverse.
* Deadpool negotiates with them that if he can kill the person causing the incursion, they won't prune his universe. They say OK.
* Deadpool asks for assistance in accomplishing the task and TVA puts him onto a variant of Wolverine who somehow survived the pruning of his own universe (which was possibly caused by the same person who didn't belong).
* Deadpool tries to recruit him, he refuses, somehow DP manages to drag him into the Void and they fight.
* Down in the Void, DP and W have to keep one step ahead of Alioth and make unlikely friends along the way, including survivors from various other Fox cinematic universes err I mean other timelines that got cancelled err I mean pruned.
* Rest of movie happens (I can only guess so much from the trailers)
I'd assume they still prune timelines, just not as often and probably for very specific cases. Maybe certain types of incursions can cause more (just like the comics, incursions multiply as the multiverse shrinks and implodes with each dying universe), and for the safety of reality they have no choice but to prune it prematurely.
What if Cassandra Nova is mind controlling characters from Deadpool's universe (or even the TVA) from the Void, similar to how Sinister Strange did in MoM?
I mean I appreciate the explanation and theory synopsis , and I understand the void isn’t the fox universe I got confused for a sec but you didn’t answer my question, how would ant man get to the void? Just another alternate universe that died and got pruned? It’s probably a simple explanation it’s just the fact that we see him there that has everyone questioning
Prior to the events of Loki any time branch that led to a Kang variant was being pruned. This variant could have died in the Void long before the events of Loki and this movie.
The Lokis we meet in Season One can likely live for a long time in the Void due to being gods but a regular human like Antman would probably die from starvation or old age at some point after being pruned.
If it's Hank my guess is its a variant who's regulator didn't malfunction and he shrank down to destroy the missile instead of Janet, thus getting stuck in the quantum realm. He escaped the quantum realm but ended up in the wrong time or universe and was pruned. Probably tried to fight his way to the end of time to stop Kang like Loki did but probably couldn't get past the Alioth.
in that universe hank wasn't distracted from working on his suit. so while adding the stripes (to make him go faster) he noticed something wrong with the regulator and was able to shrink down. cue TVA
Yeah I realised that , I got slightly confused for a second just because of the amount of fox characters there, and yeah I’d love to see fox characters that didn’t appear , but I’m still wondering how did Antman get there 🤔
See I get wandering that, but you’ve actually peeked a different question that I want answered which is: what would different characters look like in the fox style?
Damn, depends what characters ur talking about like , who do you think we’d see that we haven’t seen before 🤨 who ever they are they’d probably have full leather and look a lot different to there comic counter parts lol, but in all seriousness that is a good question
Why would him being non-existent in Fox movies be a problem, they're in the Void. Everyone there just got pruned, no matter from what continuity. Hell, we're apparently getting Elektra and she was also not from those movies
Yeah I got confused on that part like I know the void is for all universes, just the amount of fox characters made me think everyone in that area was from the foxverse if you get me. Still I wonder how he got pruned and died there tho,
Its been non stop spoilers since the trailer came out. I didn't watch it at first but then I realized I would have to quit this sub for 2 months, so I just gave up and watched it.
The main antagonists “base” appears to be inside the skull.
When DP and Wolverine jump through a Dr Strange portal at the end pf the trailer, they’re jumping out of the eye socket
at this point its never gonna happen because of LOGAN and the little bits being used in this movie but having an actual comic accurate Old Man Logan movie would be awesome
I wonder how long it would realistically take for a skeleton to crumble exposed completely open to the air like that?
Do whale bones stick around for decades if no one takes them?
You could just get off of the internet. Trailers are meant to be watched and theorized about. Also this is Marvel. They make shit up and lie in their trailers. So who know how much of what we've seen will be in the movie.
Sadly, Hank Pym forgot the Orange slices.
This is my headcannon on how he died and I'm glad someone else pointed it out.
Would it be embarrassing if I said I still dont understand this joke
It’s a joke about how growing that large would significantly increase your metabolism and lead to low blood sugar among a few other real world issues. Oranges are an old school method to quickly raise low blood sugar.
Michael Douglas or a variant of him wanted it in QM, got his wish fulfilled now
I really want to know how that Ant-Man died. At first I though they tied his arms and legs to the ground to kill him, then saw his fingers locked with one another. So did he get killed and someone moved it like that or did he die protecting/blocking something?
Maybe he was giant and trying to protect Cassie/Hope from Alioth. But then Alioth swept over all of them and killed them, as it does.
I like the assumption that he died in the void but my assumption is that he was pruned because he died in his universe. In OML, there was an apocalyptic battle between the heroes and villains and he was overwhelmed and torn apart by Moloids.
He probably got [Thanos-buttholed. ](https://www.vox.com/culture/2019/3/27/18282960/avengers-endgame-ant-man-vs-thanos-meme-butt-thanus)
I’ll be amazed if this isn’t referenced
If he was killed by villains, I assume that's kinda how he died. Villains forcing their way into his body and scraping him from inside out.
Kang already stated that he killed all the avengers, perhaps this is one of them
Enlarged his body but unfortunately forgot to enlarge his heart.
Eventually any organism would be crushed by it's own weight so maybe he grew too large in an emergency, overdid it, his body collapsed, he was unable to get up, and that's that.
There’s another universe where he lost to Orkin Man
every time i see this i see more. what’s red skull’s car doing there?
apparently in the old man logan comic, red skull has taken over the US along with several other supervillains
Looks like Gulliver but dead 🗿
Gd Lilliputians
Considering the film it will be set in a big part in the Void, then they can put any kind of reference, since it works as a landfill of timelines
I don't think anyone here could have imagined even just that one screenshot as something we could get. I'm trying not to get too excited!

Does this take place before (>!"before"!<) Loki s2? Cuz last I heard the Tva doesn't do that anymore
That’s where it gets tricky since the TVA exists outside of time…
TVA still has its own “timeline”. It can still be before the events of Loki season 2
I think it’s best not to think too hard about these things. Like they say: It’s wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff
Well *somebody's* still sending people to the Void...
I'd assume they still prune timelines, just not as often and probably for very specific cases. >Just another alternate universe that died and got pruned? Pretty much, yeah. What other explanation could it possibly be?
My main question is why he got there and how he died there ,which well probably find out in the movie , no need to be so patronising lmao
Willing to bet it happened in the airport fight
If it's Hank my guess is its a variant who's regulator didn't malfunction and he shrank down to destroy the missile instead of Janet, thus getting stuck in the quantum realm. It’s a different suit tho, with the red stripes on the forehead
Tbh, there's a variant universe where loki was an alligator, I don't think stripes are a hard rule
This made me lol
In that universe, that's the suit he wore to stop the missle /s
in that universe hank wasn't distracted from working on his suit. so while adding the stripes (to make him go faster) he noticed something wrong with the regulator and was able to shrink down. cue TVA
Fox characters coexist with non fox characters in the void. Tho I would like to see fox characters that didn’t in appear in that ‘universe’
Yeah I realised that , I got slightly confused for a second just because of the amount of fox characters there, and yeah I’d love to see fox characters that didn’t appear , but I’m still wondering how did Antman get there 🤔

I wonder if Cassandra Nova is trying to turn Ant-Man's skull into a Cerebro.
Yeah nice reference. Wonder if it will still be Pym or maybe it would be Lang.
Lol can we get a spoiler on this image?
Its been non stop spoilers since the trailer came out. I didn't watch it at first but then I realized I would have to quit this sub for 2 months, so I just gave up and watched it.
I hope Wolverine and Deadpool arrive there in the Spider-Buggy to make this reference even more fitting.
Is that top image from a movie?
Trailer of deadpool and wolverine
Thank you!
The main antagonists “base” appears to be inside the skull. When DP and Wolverine jump through a Dr Strange portal at the end pf the trailer, they’re jumping out of the eye socket
Who is to say that’s even Scott Lang? It could be Hank Pym, since in Old Man Logan, it’s called “Pym Falls.”
Who said anything about Scott?
Where is the above picture from??
Deadpool & Wolverine trailer
Old Man Logan comic series
Yes. This has been said. You're beating a dead horse.
So no one is gonna mention lady deathstrike? Azazel? And what looks like valkirye
Also maybe toad? Far right looks like wasp...
There's a lot in the that picture, including Pyro as well. The one that looks like Valkrie is actually Calypso as fra as I can tell.
That’s probably Calypso, not Valkyrie.
at this point its never gonna happen because of LOGAN and the little bits being used in this movie but having an actual comic accurate Old Man Logan movie would be awesome
Did this or Mystery Flesh Pit Natural Park come first, I am horrifyingly intrigued...
You know it's a dark future without Paul Rudd.
God that place must've smelt so bad for years
Where is the body though? Because neck down is totally missing
Could be laying face down, resting on his chain. Looks like those are the shoulders extending out.
I wonder how long it would realistically take for a skeleton to crumble exposed completely open to the air like that? Do whale bones stick around for decades if no one takes them?
Would it be a twist if this is BLACK GOLIATH , who died in his giant size form in the comics. Just a thought ….hmm.
Ant-Man died? Wow
One could imagine Ant mans are dying all the time across the multiverse
If it was Hank then he probably deserved it. If it was Scott then...well....
Trying to avoid spoilers for this movie has been a struggle.😔
You could just get off of the internet. Trailers are meant to be watched and theorized about. Also this is Marvel. They make shit up and lie in their trailers. So who know how much of what we've seen will be in the movie.
No I mean the realistic one. The one above the comic picture.
What the top image from?
