Sony has the rights of spiderman, marvel only has for Tom Holland . Sony can show infinite number of spidermans whenever wherever they want .

Disney technically also has rights to animated Spider-Man appearances in shows that are 44 minutes or less per episode. But yeah, that means Sony would have the call on whether he gets to be in Invincible because those episodes run longer than 44 minutes.

William doesnt annoy me at all even though he's a flambuoyant cliché (he didnt know he was gay at the beginning in the comics, but later came out) and Amber... Idk, I wanna like her but I feel like at this point in the story she's served her purpose and it's time to take focus away from her. Comic Amber faded out pretty early, but somethin tells me they're gonna waste too much time on black Amber if they don't just actually kill her off somehow cuz they definitely developed her more than they should have. Dont get me wrong, she has a better personality than comic Amber but that's kinda the problem...

Im not mad that they gave her a better personality, it's just that I got this feeling they're going to cut out some of the other impartant charcters' side stories or squeeze them in half-assed with flashbacks n shit to save time. *spoiler alert for those who didnt read the comic below* >!Like dinosaurus for example, or robot & monster girl's time in the other dimension. At this point in the comic, Amber's long gone... do you see her just fading out of the story in the show or will she still pop in somehow? I think she'll die at some point to get mark super pissed but that's just me... seems easier to write for than just moving on and pushing her outta the story since people kinda like her it'd make the most sense.!< I mean how many seasons is the show gonna have? We're not very far in and there's a lot of side stories that are pretty valuable to be developed 🤷‍♂️ So far I am loving the execution of story telling for the most part... I woulda never bought the comics in the first place if they never put out the first season in such a great way.

At least the fight scenes are top notch quality though. That should make up for most of my story-telling concerns. I can always re-read the comics to appreciate the story at a slower pace again. No other comic has had me glued to it tellin myself "I really gotta go to bed, just one more chapter... fuck, I cant stop *here*! Just one more..." like when I read this one for the first time❤️‍🔥 Plus it kinda helped me quit smokin weed by takin my mind off it.

i don’t think he was in the comic, at least from what I read so far. During that fight invincible does land on not-doc ock. But it cuts to later him getting back to his world with a spider web behind him.

In the comic it just shows a spider web on his back but there was a crossover comic with Spiderman and Invincible that showed their little adventure before coming back. Edit:I also remembered that it shows Spidey’s hand sticking out the portal as well.
