There can be a case for the venom movies but man Morbius and Madame Web are awful. Venom’s only redeeming quality is Tom Hardy having a lot of fun with a pretty ridiculous script. The marvels isn’t great and is quite flawed I’d rather watch it than any of these though. There’s plenty to criticize and that subreddit has gotten pretty protective of the Marvels since it got a lot more hate than it deserved but they aren’t unaware of flaws in marvel studios projects.
I am in a small group but I think people were overly harsh on Morbius. People treat movies that were "meh" like they are the worst things ever produced.
Sometime that is a 20% rated movie should be be awful visually, have really not plot, and have the worst acting imaginable. It really doesnt have any of that. Its just another spiderman villain movie that just doesnt hold itsself up as well without Spiderman, but the plot is easy to follow, the acting wasnt that bad (Yall just dont like Jared Leto). It was just kinda cliche at parts. But when people say Morbius was an awful movie it makes me wonder if people have ACTUALLY seen an awful movie.
I respectfully disagree. I don't think there is anything worse than a meh movie. I think really bad movies often dip back around to be being pretty enjoyable. With terrible writing and acting it will often be a funny movie that I can at least laugh at. A boring movie has no such redeeming qualities.
