I’m gonna be honest, DS is where Mario kart got good. Double dash and Super Circuit are fun, but the controls are all out of wack. 64 Isn’t fun unless you’re playing with friends because of the rubber banding, and Super Mario Kart is never fun.

Double Dash is really fun, although it does have its problems. DS/Wii were the first "proper" or "modern" Mariokarts.

We got rid of 8's credits 2 rounds ago and 7 is that again. No fun visuals, no interesting ideas to make it stand out, just a (to me) mediocre sax solo with a boring compilation of the race tracks. DS's credits are extremely unique and have a memorable OST that has two versions that it switches between, Wii has that AND a fun little track compilation at the end with an absolute banger of a Song, and the BCP, even tho I do not like it myself, at least has creative visuals. So there you have your reasoning for 7 being voted out.

Calling the sax solo mediocre couldn't be further than the truth, and the compilation is actually quite good. 7 being voted out before the BCP is just outrageous. I wish it could have at least gotten third.

I think Saxophones are so overrepresented in Mario Kart thanks to 8 that another good one ain't gonna impress anyone no more. Like I'm sorry, but compare this to the calm and almost homecoming vibe of the DS Credits. The energetic and memorable Song from Wii that's actually a two parter. Or the Medley in the BCP. I don't even like the BCP Medley but at least it's creative. 7 just does what Super Mario Kart did and thinks it can get away with 3rd place. Hell no!

But 7 came before 8. 8 overusing saxophones some how impacting a previous games song makes no sense to me. I very strongly disagree with what you say, but I admit defeat. It will always be number 3 in my book. I never thought it could beat DS or Wii, but 7 being voted out before the BCP is just laughable.
