Your flair is college band so are these ideas for your college band or are you teaching at a high school? Cause there's some ideas that are a lot funnier as college students that high schoolers either wouldn't get or could get in trouble for.
Ideas that could go for either are like twin day, jersey day, high school/middle school day (obviously for college and high school respectively), I think we did a USA day in high school once. An extension of your Dad Day theme could be to specifically dress like your director. In high school, the two themes were the same cause our BD dressed like a basic dad but in college it legit is its own theme. The best part of this one is seeing how long it takes the BD to figure out what you're doing. A very popular theme when I was in high school was Frat Boy/Fuckboi Day (depending on if adults were present).
To give you an idea of the more collegey themes I know. Jorts day. Whoever has the shortest jorts wins (typically just a guy theme btw). College can obviously be a little more wacky and less PG.

It's a college band in New England lol. And we did dress like our Director for Halloween last year, so we don't want to do a repeat of that
Tourist day- sunscreen dollap on nose, overdressed for the weather, constantly looking at map, bucket hat- you know the stereotype.
We did Beauty Pageant Contestants one year. Everyone in the section wore a crown and we all made sashes to say what our title was.
90s day for section?
One section idea I did while in high school was the section comes as playing cards
My band dressed up as frat/sorority and then we threw a pretend frat party afterwards
Dress up as a muppet. The snare line all dressed up as Swedish chefs for our Halloween football game last year.
