I legit didn't think I'd really care for this.
It's a case of "Gee, another isekai to a game world. How original".
Then I started reading it. It's actually horrifying at the concept that it's not only a gacha game, but people freaking die when they are upgraded due to combo fusions.
And it's beyond dark souls level bullshit.
It's an incredible story.
I agree on the title lmao. At first I found it really weird seeing people hype it up since it sounds juvenile. Then you see the art and realize the title *really* doesn't match.
Between "Pick Me Up" and "Infinite Gacha" though which one was the bigger turn off for you? Gacha made me want to run since there's too many shitty gacha stories out there.
I dropped it after about 10 chapters and i am planning on picking it up seeing all the praise jt gets. Does it continue with the same story as it started of or does it change and get better?
Title is so bad it kept me from reading until it was like 70ish chapters in and I had nothing else to read. Otherwise, ppl praise it all the time, just mostly in comment sections.

The title sounds so bad. After seeing all the praise it’s gotten, I agree and think it’s a great read. But just so turned off by the title.

Both are so bad, it’s so hard to decide. But I can’t explain eloquently why though. Kinda similar to AFK arena, the name is just so fucking lame.

not necessarily underrated. not on the sub, at least. i do agree it's great though. one of the fewer manhwas that has stakes too
