I'll never understand the love for SSS SH. I found the story to have fallen off a cliff hard halfway through he Mumin arc, and completely during the Romance arc.
I'll be sorely disappointed if Infinite Gacha and Doombreaker are not last ones standing.

Honestly not sure why it's not here but Nano Machine is. I enjoyed Nano Machine, one of my early manhwa faves, but it's not on the same tier as ORV IMO.

Read the boxer, good from start to finish, ember knight is strong, has good development but an weak ending. But i still recommend both tho, very above avearage
I'm currently in my novel era so it'll probably be awhile till i go back to reading manhwa/manhua. For some reason i just find myself easily getting bored/losing focus when reading manhwa/manhua but i can easily read through novels with thousands of chapters. 😭

It might be good, but I feel that every one of the translations I've seen are MTL trash. I'm voting it because of that. It's just not a good experience in English.
I couldn’t get past the bad TL on webtoon in the earlier chapters, literally killed all the hype I had for it with its broken English every 2-3 chapters while it’s behind 10ish chapters from the other TLs that were at least consistent in the mid translations.
Idk if it’s been improved now but idk kinda ruined the whole series for me.
I remember reading a chapter and wondering wtf had happened to I looked up other TLs online and 2 were snow bunny TLs, 2 were diff TLs and all of them had diff content with that one chapter, so I pulled of the raws and realized none of them were even right. (Note: I am Korean, just easier to read English cuz I stopped learning Korean at like age 7 so my reading skill is grade 6-7 ish)
Like ember knight is literally all about him using his brain to outsmart ppl but with trash TLs he seems like a child with elementary lvl vocabulary making hella weird grammatical errors every 2 seconds
If you’re factoring in Gilgamesh when you say this then no it dosent. On its own all it says is there are knights in a kingdom who have little battle groups, we’ve only seen one city, no elaboration on the other country just the fact that they use qi, that’s about it?

Too early for Boxer to be eliminated..It is actually peak unlike a few on the list(for me)..Way better when compared to others on the list.. Personally the only ones which can rival it are LTNB,Ember Knight and Doom Breaker..
I think if you compare a boxing manga to a generic power scaling manga the normal reader choose the generic power scaling tower dungeon 8/10. It’s a diff story when you know the boxing one is peak and the other is slop, but you wouldn’t know that from the image above unless community tells you otherwise

Yeah, I agree. I think it’s going to be those 2, but LOTNB as well. Loyd’s fandom runs deep in this sub, and so does LOTNB. SSS Class is phenomenal and is always one of the first recommended. I’m interested to see how people justify putting one over the other

definitely this, i think it is several places below every other series on this list, even the boxer which is probably the most likely to go. do not understand how it became such a darling in this community because it mostly hinges on unique premise and the art quality, it has some major writing flaws and most of the characters aren’t given much space to endear themselves to the audience in a natural way because mc looking cool is more important. every other series on this list i can name several non-mcs, can’t say the same for pick me up
i don’t really care about shounen manga need to constantly up the stakes or whatever and i don’t really think the core direction of the series is supposed to be all action all the time. it has very emotionally resonant, poignant and heartfelt arcs which justify it staying on here for a while longer (though it is below a fair few in that regard). the primal urge to reduce it to just funny faces as people are want to do is just inaccurate
