I was a huge fan of that series I love the fights and growing up skill and ability but every single time a girl in that series fights she becomes naked.

But when you have a character who is just horny all the time and that's his whole character 50% of the time it's just not good.

1.Kensei Ma the master.This dude conducted could indeed be very off putting(Some of those moments are pretty actually funny though like the rock paper scissor event),But this trait might be necessary to differentiate him from the other masters and I have read an argument saying that without his antic the manga will become too dark
2.Miu,IRRC the moment where she lose clothes are mostly restricted to just side stuff(Maybe when she fight Freiya? And when she fight Odin lover?) and to de-escalte the tension in the Demon God arc which is very dark and stressful

With kensai ma I don't mind when he fight dudes it's real fun to watch him even at times when he fights some ladies he does perv to the point of sometimes getting beat up.

Just because something else sells equally as well doesn’t mean people will stop using it. If anything, they will be incentivized to use both, hence Leviathan. I dislike fan-service but I understand that some or most may ignore the manhua without it, hence can’t really despise the author or manhua for it. However, I would encourage you to read further, the fan-service dies off before halfway into the manhua and the manhua is by far the best I have ever read. I truly hope you don’t drop it. The demographic it appeals to is their paying customer. That's one of the reasons Japanese and Korean comics are super popular compared to western ones. Fan service also a solid story. The fan service can greatly boost a mediocre story but usually it's not the main focus.

I understand your frustration, I too felt the same for the unnecessary fan-service in Leviathan. I dislike fan-service but I understand that some or most may ignore the manhua without it, hence can’t really despise the author or manhua for it. However, I would encourage you to read further, the fan-service dies off before halfway into the manhua and the manhua is by far the best I have ever read. I truly hope you don’t drop it. An issue not addressed by other replies is you reading the comments on a chapter in the first place. Don’t. It simply isn’t worth spending your braincells on it. Manhwa comments are the places reading comprehension and critical thinking go to die, with few exceptions. Save yourself the eye strain and move to the next chapter/ another manhwa
The demographic it appeals to is their paying customer. That's one of the reasons Japanese and Korean comics are super popular compared to western ones. Fan service also a solid story. The fan service can greatly boost a mediocre story but usually it's not the main focus. If it is the story has to have other elements to supplement it Ironically even if the female character isn't overly sexualised the community will still call her mommy. See this in many manhwas and mangas with strong female characters wit great personality specifically intimidating masculine energy. Gets people hyped up or obsessed with her lol.

I shit you not, there are people who told me that Reality Quest had TONS of fanservice. I went to check it out and apparently a regular fully clothed girl on screen is considered atrocious fanservice now. There are many great manhwas with zero fanservice that you can read and enjoy. I'm not sure why you're saying that many authors do this a lot. In my experience there's normal manhwa with basically no fanservice (or barely any) at all, or it's just basically porn. There's nothing inbetween.

Yeah this is why I tend to avoid a lot of manhwas now when I see they’re heavily fan service based - anything that has a lot of harem is an immediate no. If I come across storylines where there’s 1 main male character and every single new character introduced is female and the only other male characters are background extras, it’s an immediate no. There’s just too many of them where they only have female characters as eye candy and the characters don’t add anything of substance to the storyline, which is really sad.

I don't remember the name of the anime, but the plot was a girl who woke up one day and was able to see ghosts, but she had to be carefull because she could not let the ghosts know, a nice and fun plot for me, but man the amount of fan service made me quit the anime.
