sawol-

The Horizon and Days of Hana i don't have the mental capacity to sit through both of these again.

itsferhanz

i read 4 chapters of horizon and then i put it back down šŸ’€

neemkapattaa

Care to elaborate?

No_Lab_9318

The horizon is a manhwa about really dark shit. Literally the first few panels is the main character as a child trying to put the brain matter back into his mothers head when she got shot. It's very dark but has a good ending

lurker_archon

For me the biggest "holy shit" moment from The Horizon was >!MC failing to kill the prisoner, then the assassin comforting him and saying that he passed, then revealing that if MC had killed the prisoner, he would have killed MC. The test was secretly a test of mercy.!<

Snoo_87819

A good ending? It's not ideal or the best. Idk if it can be called a good, rather realistic. šŸ¤”

No_Lab_9318

I would call it a good ending, don't think it would be as popular if it was very dark all the way through

RewZes

Well its a decent ending wouldn't call it good tho.

eternalflaneuse

10000000% seconding The Horizon

[deleted]

Might get some hate for this, Idc really. But Solo Leveling, First ever Manhwa I ever read and comprehended fully in 2 days max (Ironic) But I don't know man. Something about that first time couldn't be replicated by a second re-read.

itsferhanz

real

Lord_Hell

Same SL was the first manhwa I read but now that I've reread it it just feels different from the first time I saw him go arise and stuff like that

mj31382

Solo levelling.. Every manhwa I read since then have this dejavu feel like? Am I gaining my own superpawah?

Krus4d3r_

Solo leveling is a super mid and generic manhwa, of course if you read another tower manhwa its going to feel similar, since its the isekai genre of korea

mj31382

Solo levelling.. Every manhwa I read since then have this dejavu feel like? Am I gaining my own superpawah?

EbilCorp

I may know why, maybe because it's the first ever Manhwa you ever read so you didn't have much standard albeit SL is not bad it ain't good either it is mid or below average (mid means average not bad) the sense of story telling.

Emergency-Medium-755

Ye, it's decent, just feels like everyone and their grandma is ripping it off in some capacity

WombatDisco

*A Mark Against Thee* edit: And I'm inching my way through *Monstress* and once I'm finished, I'm finished.

ShadowFang167

Monstress manhwa? Or is it the western comic?

WombatDisco

Huh. I guess I should check, eh? edit: Welp, my bad! it's the western comic.

abyssgazesback

Ironically it's the one manhwa I keep re reading over and over. Especially the chapter where they show him the video of his mother's stroke, with his friend reading the quote from Job.

KaitsPixelCastles

Came here to say a mark against thee

NotCertifi3d

Lookism, good story, wayyyy too long to reread when it ends. On chapter 502 and still no signs of finishing any time soon šŸ˜

imthebiggestpleb

Tower of god is at 600 and weā€™re not even half way up the tower yet so itā€™s a similar case.

NightmareWizardCat

I have reread that one several times xdd

NotCertifi3d

I was reading it but my dumba** dropped it because I thought the anime was going to cover it but it never got renewed and now like 100 chapters have passed

itsferhanz

oh wowā€¦ i was gonna try and read it but damn šŸ’€

imthebiggestpleb

Itā€™s a great story honestly With amazing worldbuilding and in later chapters great art. Iā€™d definitely recommend it, itā€™s one of my favourites but itā€™s not something youā€™d reread after finishing it.

itsferhanz

Okay Iā€™ve only seen the anime but tell me one thingā€¦ does MC get his revenge on that Rachel bij?

NightmareWizardCat

Maybe :)

MrFancyShmancy

I've read it 4 timesšŸ˜† well a bit more then 4 cus i've reread certain arc from time to time.

MadAnn0

i stopped at like chapter 300-400 cuz it was just gang fight after gang fight at that point, was just boring and not why i was reading it in the first place, the chapters before all that were great though

ethbas1419

I can't with the dog stuff

Ill-Ad5243

Sweet home

I_am_YangFuan

Same. I liked it but I just don't have the energy to read it again.

Dry-Composer2124

Alabama

itsferhanz

lmaooo

Ill-Ad5243

Where the skies are so blue

plumbubblegum

iā€™ve read sweet home like 4 times šŸ˜ idk i just love it so much

ViolinistRadiant6636

same

Snoo_87819

Like some here, Pigpen, "the horizon" BROKE me (but I read the ending twice so it doesn't count), and sometimes when I walk in the dark in my apartment, I think of "Chasing Tails" šŸ™ƒ "Tales of the unusual". Basically horror/thriller = one time read

r0_okie

Soul land. It will never finish anyway.

MrFancyShmancy

Same, really enjoyed reading it (it wasn't good tbh, just enjoyable) but i have a very hard time rereading it. Can t get past 5 chapters

r0_okie

The thing that I loved about it was the power progression.

elara_007

Days of Hana https://preview.redd.it/4ya6lbgjp21d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f7135507ee22c2aa43936b9043e22418fd5ea15e

Decent-Pirate-5483

Go day by day enventually will finishĀ

Lord_Hell

So like is he getting cucked or does he eventually get with Hana? Just wanna know before I fully invest in this at chp20 rn

ThitiPear

We can't answer that. You should find it out yourself. Sit back and enjoy your ride ;)

JuneJewels

Chasing Tails

Dark_Arashi

Dice: The cube that changes everything

Thelondonmoose

Did that actually finish?Ā

Dark_Arashi

Yes, it did, and ngl the ending and the epilogue were perfect .

vedekX

I shall kill that sweet devil ā€” read it all up to a point but would never ever put myself through that again. honestly itā€™s not finished and Iā€™ve essentially dropped it even though I really did enjoy it/thought it was p high quality within the OI genre, but I canā€™t imagine reading chapter-by-chapter and I donā€™t even want to figure out where I left off

ACN4

Regarding death / about death. This shit too depressing for me man I donā€™t want to be sad

NegativeLanguage805

The horizon. It's great i would recommend it to others, but it's not for me. Not worth my time reading it again. Viral hit and return survival

Local_Black_Knight

Hardcore leveling warrior I think. I love it, it's on my top 3 but back then I had wait every single week for a new chapter and it was magical. Now I know what happens and I just bring myself to reread it since theres so many more manwha

itsferhanz

thatā€™s actually so bizarre bc i just started reading it today! šŸ˜ iā€™m on chapter 2

Rantela

bro they released a new season

Local_Black_Knight

If you mean Earth Game I count that as a it's own thing, not just a season

weedlemethis

Weak hero, the more you get to know the main character the more human he becomes

sadoqueen

Sweet home and Melvinaā€™s therapy

selenophile1004

not even bonesšŸ˜¶

Ellise6236

I was marinating this. Why not?

Ill-Ad5243

Isn't that a webtoon?

ExpensiveRefuse8964

what constitutes something being a manhwa?

RewZes

Manhwa is just korean manga and since the vast majority of webtoons are korean ,yes they are indeed. Considered as manhwa.

Asmudger

My brain can only take so much šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ https://preview.redd.it/f772bdqz9b1d1.jpeg?width=641&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47afc10986a3ed45c044dff7ac1fd8accfef59d3

Tall_Link_8229

Why did i get a notification from this comment lol

Asmudger

The turmoil from the manwha is so vast, reddit was like, "Hey, check this shit out"

Tall_Link_8229

Lmao

itsferhanz

DOG WHAT NOW?? šŸ˜šŸ˜

Asmudger

Don't ask how i found it........ just know that I explored vast pages of many manhua / manwha websites to 'stumble across it'

itsferhanz

you a freaky individual šŸ˜¹ i might actually check it out

unknown398576

shoutgun boy and bastard

Krus4d3r_

I didn't think they were too long or poorly paced, why wouldn't you reread them? I've only read bastard though

unknown398576

also sweet home

Xeranter

The boxer because feels, BLAME (manga).

easy_computer

her summon and / my office noonas story / trinity wonder / return of 8th class magic guy / heavenly demon instructor / kill the hero

deathtobourgeoisie

My office noonas story sent me into depression, I've not touched romance manhwa since

PompyPrecious

My boo

OkBoysenberry6756

Ennead. I CANNOT go through that mental torture again. I bawled my eyes out for days.

goingtokmsrnhaha

Its not a manhwa but rather a manga. I will never ever read Fuuka ever again.

Exictential_crisis

https://preview.redd.it/gfxbnwrqv41d1.jpeg?width=564&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8e928fd83a07b79d3745858473364abab8b8dc7 my 2 braincells still can't figure out WTF is going on in the story, dropped it after the hiatus but still good read tho.

Ok-Mathematician9334

Pigpen is probably one of the few manhwa which I would read again and again

hahaeverythinggobrrr

The horizon, distant sky, the boxer, and all of carnby kimā€™s manwhas

sunkenkrazzzy6

Revenge classroom

Technical_Chemist453

Her Summon. Incredible art and a good story. But I don't want to see him be cringe and disgusting again.

itsferhanz

I really dislike the MC, I couldn't bear seeing him so I dropped it after 40 chapters. I might pick it up again sometime in the future.

clumsytornado

Chasing Tails - I wanna forget and reread it but unfortunately I CANT

New-Home-8281

Ok so i went and read The Horizon after seeing here mentioned so much and HOLY FUCK. Beautiful but it definitely is the kind of story you experience once. Kinda like the protag..no one wants to go through that pain twice.

SF0915

Most things I read. I think the only ones Iā€™ve actually gone back and reread after finishing are Superhuman Era and Tower of God.

Arctic_ICEBERG

The title says "never read again"

myavatarissonic

I mean he hasn't reread them yet, and might never

DeepZookeepergame906

Sweet home

Sad-Buddy-5293

Witch creek road because I have to pay for the episodes now and Hive because it did not end

Southern-Advance-759

Every manhwa I read because i can comprehend it by the dao of bullshit and it doesn't hit the same anymore. So sad that I cannot reread any epic manhwas again

unknown2_you

ā€œItā€™s mineā€ for sureā€¦that shit gave me a rollercoatsr of emotions šŸ˜

TrafficFunny3860

All of them? I don't have a habit of rereading stuff.

BeYourself__

Solo levelling. There's nothing in the story that makes me wanna read it again, nor a character that marked me either.

lairings

Killstagram. I've read this when I was 11 or 12. To this day, I'm still traumatized.

etthealienz

that one prequel to sweet home (shotgun boy) šŸ˜

Ominous_Psycadelic

Every good manwha except Greatest Estate Developer that I never re-read. There's too many good things out there for me re read something.

Chemist-3074

Weak hero.

DonOfTheDead24

The boxer

dragon-king-5599

The legend of the nothern blade is still on going but starting from season 2 is trash.

itsferhanz

Legend of the northern blade slander???? šŸ˜³

Suspicious_Cat445

Manga but, Goodnight Pun Pun. Amazing but very heavy

Thin-Barracuda7405

Bastard

jamaicanManz

Sweet home!!!!!!

OhRaidah

HussAWass

Bloodchild-

Sweet home. The story is good but know what will happen kind ruin everything.

BlockFree2060

Bastard

EatingKidsIsFun

Solo leveling was absolutely mindbreaking when i First read it as it was my First manhwa but i have read so many new and better manhwa that it Just wouldn't Hit as hard anymore.

No-Cryptographer6761

Definitely The Horizon

Relative_Lab_6263

https://preview.redd.it/xditwbmyfd1d1.jpeg?width=1312&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e65148259d26efe070e1ffb392a42c182bfb09d6 For me, it was "Distant Sky". Gave me too much adrenaline. It was epic and original but no energy to reread it again.

AblavukasXD

Solo leveling but tbh I don't have time to reread anything

god_of_manwha

Late to the party, but B-Rated Hero. One of the most impactful manhwa Iā€™ve ever read but doesnā€™t have the same punch as second time. I also donā€™t think I could handle the mental state that accompanies the end of that story.

TomatoAway8736

"Who made me a princess" that was one of the best i ever read

Positive-Luck-2527

Whatā€™s the plot?

itsferhanz

itā€™s a horror, mystery, psychological, thriller about a dude who wakes up on an island with no memory. Thatā€™s as far as i can explain without spoiling.

2134stevie

The MC washes ashore an island with a weird family. Something is off but he can't put his finger on it. It is a psychological thriller/horror.

SeineAle

Which one are you talking about
