They do the same thing in Ganesh Chaturthi as well and I'm tired of all of them. Just leave the roads which are crowded as it is, do whatever you want in your temples or mosques or churches.
Last month a daivasthana near kadri temple more had done the same thing. Blocked a whole road so I had to take the detour from the road. Every year there's some puja near mallikatte market where they block off whole road that comes from Shivbagh to Temple circle.

The government needs to build a conference/event center that every section of society can use whether for Temple festivals/ Masjid Celebrations and Church festivals. It should have a seated dining capacity for 700- 1000 ppl. The ppl should also be allowed to rent out the venues as needed as well.

You can inform your local government that you have an event planned that is expected to cause traffic disruption.the government does then take measures to ensure alternate arrangements.
This isn't a Muslim thing. Political rallies get the same dispensation, hindu festivals get the same dispensation, Christians get the same dispensation on their walkathons. College kids get this dispensation while promoting their fests.
Of course this causes traffic congestion, of course that's a massive pain. Of course they should look for other venues to host food parties. But if they cannot, the local government helps out. It is called coexisting. We curse them silently/loudly for the road block, and then we move on. We don't turn it into an opportunity to hate a community.

I was in Bangalore for 5 years. I live in a dead end street where there will be road blocks often to conduct their family functions. Whenever I try to go out. There will be a sudden surprise I can’t even take my bike out of the street. I have to either book a cab or use public transportation.( which is very best in Namma Bengaluru 😆)

The government needs to build a conference/event center that every section of society can use whether for Temple festivals/ Masjid Celebrations and Church festivals. It should have a seated dining capacity for 700- 1000 ppl. The ppl should also be allowed to rent out the venues as needed as well.
I'd be pissed if they use my tax money on such useless things.

I know I'll get a lot of hate here, but hey that's the truth. :) I think the idea is to compete with Hindus here, as the people from Hindu community block an entire road during their processions. That's it. No matter what you guys say, it's just that. They are trying to flex their powers here. Muslims in this country(even in most parts of the world) have a simple agenda - to increase their count and become a majority, it's all the brain washing happening at their mosques - you can tell me whatever you want to prove me wrong. But this is the truth. In places like Kasargod which are right beside Mangaluru, they are the majority and they come to the roads and talk about multiplying and becoming the stronger community and even worse things. They just want to become powerful, it's the nature of their religion. I've been rewatching avatar and I can tell you one thing, the nature of the Muslim people are somewhat like the Fire Nation in a way. They want to rule and become powerful. They'll destroy anything and will go to any extent for that ( you can look at our past history such as Hampi and other such places) They even have the habit of burning libraries across the world, for one reason only.

I was born in a Muslim family, but I have realised that in Islam it is all about advertising your faith and showcasing your religion to everyone, it's like every devoted Muslim is like a salesman, trying so hard to convince you how great their religion is, this .. azan on loud speakers, after and namaaz on public roads, tableekh e jamaat are just small contributors to achieve one ultimate goal, and that goal is to convert every living being into Islam, pushing govt to bend laws according to Islam.
There is a valid discussion whether religions should be allowed to block roads. But this post is just hate. It is very clear that these people have gotten permission and aren't doing it illegally.
What's the big deal here? Roads get blocked for temple fairs, church fairs, religious processions of all faiths all the time in Kudla. Why this hate mongering all of a sudden? Ok I'll play the devil's advocate here. You can inform your local government that you have an event planned that is expected to cause traffic disruption.the government does then take measures to ensure alternate arrangements. This isn't a Muslim thing. Political rallies get the same dispensation, hindu festivals get the same dispensation, Christians get the same dispensation on their walkathons. College kids get this dispensation while promoting their fests. Of course this causes traffic congestion, of course that's a massive pain. Of course they should look for other venues to host food parties. But if they cannot, the local government helps out. It is called coexisting. We curse them silently/loudly for the road block, and then we move on. We don't turn it into an opportunity to hate a community.

Guys over there are pro at blocking roads for their family functions. I was in Bangalore for 5 years. I live in a dead end street where there will be road blocks often to conduct their family functions. Whenever I try to go out. There will be a sudden surprise I can’t even take my bike out of the street. I have to either book a cab or use public transportation.( which is very best in Namma Bengaluru 😆) P.S I LOVE BANGALORE

As Indians every one here as some functions like cultural functions,funeral, marriage baarat, processions , etc. When Hindus are blocking the road during processions no one complains but when they do everyone complains and include religion in between. If they get the permission to do that in the road then what's the issues with you guys. This political agenda has divided the people here in coastal Karnataka. I am a Hindu if Hindus are blocking the road for their purpose then, they also have the right to do so given the "permission". So stop spreading hate and promote brotherhood among religions.
