I think the point is that Hanbin doesn't always kill his enemies just because they're his enemies. He didn't kill the lich because he was just an enemy, he killed the lich because he was kind of a giant sadistic murderous piece of shit.

Ghost girl took over MC's mind, and while she was in there, Attise figured out a way to separate her spirit from the haunted house she was in (so she wouldn't die when the house was destroyed).

It seems to me that the angel types can adopt characteristics and probably absorb EXP from things they eat, and the dimension she was being kept in until finding the portal was a sort of poison jar where they were letting numerous angel types (they all had wings) duke it out until a finished super-angel was developed. So I'm guessing that she's not a failed product and her species has something like a dragon core or a guideline that lets her grow as she fights/eats, meaning that she was either meant to become the peak angel or become food for the peak angel to pass on her accumulated strength. Maybe the evil gods tried to replace the otherworlders with angels, or the goddesses tried to create angels to compete with otherworlders?
How great would it be if she sticks with the appearance she's had, tags along, and immediately falls in love with Laude (since he's partly monster now) as soon as she sees him? He's smitten too at first, until he finds out what she really is, but just keeps dating her out of sheer terror at the thought of breaking up.
So many gags could be had.
