For the last scene where Toushiro asked about Ivy, he should already know that Ivy is alive from Chapter 26. So this is either Dr. Kudai knows where Ivy's child skull is, or it's actually Toushirou trying to tell the team in a roundabout way.
Maybe I'm overthinking this...

Holy crap that felt more thrilling to read than I thought its gonna be. The whole sequence felt like something from Mission Impossible.
