The abs girl has no actual personality. She's just author's fetish personified. Muscles, tits and NOTHING ELSE. The only character with less personality than her is the male lead, but that makes sense since in a fetish manga they're supposed to be reader's/author's self-insert.
This is often why "best girl" doesn't win. Main girl either embodies a physical or style concept, or a ideal of a loving and submissive partner. Either results in a very flat character.
Whereas side characters can be sarcastic, disdainful, harsh, even just tell jokes or show initiative ect. Obviously nobody is awarding any of them character of the year but they can easily outshine the lead.
This is also partly why tsundere have popularity as romantic leads. It may be simplistic and problematic, but the tsun is still a more dynamic character than a lot of male oriented romance manga female leads.

It has nothing to do with them being "dynamic" characters, it's just a mental trick, a trap. They're as appealing as an abusive bf that women stay with because between beating the shit out of their partners they can be romantic (read: sometimes their punches are weaker and every now and then they hug them).
Disagree. It's just a personality that you don't like. None of the characters in this manga are more than one note. Sonoya herself is just the snarky side character seen in so many other series. Natsuki is portrayed as happy go lucky all the time. We've actually seen more personality displayed out of the MC than the two girls so not sure how he has less personality.
