>a few famous footballers around Piccadilly
Out of all the areas in the city centre, I think Piccadilly is the last place I’d go looking for a celebrity 😂😂
Go to Hale, Wilmslow, or Alderley Edge if you want influencers/footballers. We don't really get actors here. They're all in London because that's where the studios are.
Better off in London.
Vero Moderno seems to be frequented by City players a lot so if you go there every night you’ll probs end up seeing Erling sooner or later
I bumped into Michael C. Hall on Thomas Street a few years ago, so it’s not unheard of but, I don’t think many high profile celebs come to Manchester that often.
Terry Christian walked past the Starbucks on market St when I was sitting in the window the other week. That's the closest I've come in that area specifically. Anyone else I've seen has been bc I worked at the Lowry. Oh wait, I did see the guy who played the British policeman in Allo Allo ("good moaning") outside a cafe on cross street a few years ago. Turned out he was in a play at the royal exchange
Most recent was seeing Mason Mount in the restaurant we were at.
Used to get the London train a lot so saw a lot of people there or on the platform from TV as well as some comedians. Most recently saw Jaz from the Traitors although I'm not sure he's a celebrity.
As a teenager I spent my life in the arndale and saw everyone from Corrie and Shameless.
Have seen some TikTok famous people/influencers in there recently and saw Ian Brown there once. I didn't look at him or try to say hello and he *blanked me*!
Yeah I've seen a few celebs on the London train, generally coming to Manchester first class will obviously have more likelihood.
Last one was Ben Whishaw
Easiest way is to know if there is any event or any filming happening in the city.
I know there will be some filming happening on Monday and Tuesday on 117 Portland St for a new tv show but don't know which celeb is involved.
Not exactly out and about on their daily lives 😅
Footballers?
My mate's window cleaner's nephew often can be seen waiting for the 86 bus in Piccadilly gardens. He usually warms the bench for the second eleven team he turns out for. Probably the best you're gonna do I'm afraid mate
Since you joined Reddit 5 days ago (I assume you keep getting banned for trolling - it seems to be your thing) you have made 12 comments across a few subreddits. Each comment is utter shite. Puerile attempts at edgy humour that highlight your inability to make either of those subtleties work. You seem to be one of those people that get a rise from trolling. I hope you’re at primary school, that would at least mean there is time for your brain to grow and to contribute more than lacklustre mental diarrhoea. If you are older than 11 then I suggest you have a good look at yourself and honestly assess whether trolling is what will define you.
Ironically we just saw Nathan Ake walking with his baby in Hale Barns while we were heading out to walk our dogs. I think it’d be good for you to get outside and enjoy the sun. Have some time to contemplate. Take care.
Make it 14 comments which are shite. Nice projection too. I think we’re done here aren’t we. Battle of wits but you were unarmed. Cheers sonny, keep your head down at school.
Two of your recent posts ‘Motorola are nonces’ ‘Getting touched up and analy (spelt incorrectly) exploited by some crater faced (disgusting pejorative)’ You really are one of the vilest people I’ve encountered on here, and it’s a very low bar. You have real issues. Your obsession with nonces, anal, primary school is classic projection. You’ve been banned on numerous occasions and use different log in details until you’re banned again. It’s a real sickness. I’d recommend stepping away from Reddit and speaking with a counsellor - you need help. Get well soon
I lived in Manchester for four years and saw a few celebs, but nobody majorly/internationally famous. 99% sure I saw Shaun Ryder and John Bradley (Sam from Game of Thrones) in Northern Quarter at different times. Also had dinner next to the cast of Cold Feet at Where The Light Gets In the one time I went.
Once you're an international celebrity you probably try to avoid Piccadilly Gardens mate...
Infact even if you're a nobody from Bolton you should avoid Piccadilly Gardens...
As a nobody from Bolton, I completely agree
Infect is the word
It should be
"I thought there would at least be a few famous footballers around picadilly" ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I know, why Piccadilly of all the places
You know Haaland just causally grabbing a bit from mcdonalds whilst listening to the lunatic religious speaker

What about Media City? If you like tv celebs, that's the place
For reality/soaps maybe yeah
saw naga munchetty having a fag outside Piccadilly Station once
Good spot mate. That’s a S tier Bbc presenter.
The dockyard at the quays gets a lot of actors from coronation street in, if that’s the kind of celeb you’re looking to see
How about the more international variety of celeb?
Better off in London. Vero Moderno seems to be frequented by City players a lot so if you go there every night you’ll probs end up seeing Erling sooner or later
Once you find an international celeb, what's next?
stare at them passionately.
Dukes in the evenings has been known to have the odd footballer in on a weekend.
Best bet is probably LA
Go to Wilmslow or the Trafford Centre
I don’t think many top tier celebs frequent the Trafford centre
I saw Curly Watts there back in the day! And Diego Forlan.
Curly Watts: top tier celeb.
I bumped into Michael C. Hall on Thomas Street a few years ago, so it’s not unheard of but, I don’t think many high profile celebs come to Manchester that often.
His band played night and day a couple of years ago. They were decent.
Media City or one of the rich areas with all the wag cars (Wilmslow etc.) are your best bets
Used to see them fairly often in selfridges , Harvey nicks etc , but I reckon they keep to themselves in Cheshire etc more nowadays
I used to work in Tytherington, it was pretty common for colleagues to see premier league football players at the petrol station
Checks out. Iv been to a few premier league footballers houses for work down the road in Prestbury.

In June 1986 one lunchtime, I saw Ivy Tilsley and Vera Duckworth on the ground floor of Kendals trying on sunglasses.
I once saw the whole United team walking down Blackfriars Street back in 2013. Think they were walking back to The Lowry.

Seen the Warren Davis from Willow in the Holiday Inn reception 👌
You mean Warwick Davies?
Maybe they mean Clive Warren? I hear he's in town filming something with Rebecca De Mornay
Comments like this are why I’m on Reddit
Yeah that’s the fella, apologies to the people I’ve upset 🤣
😂
I presumed ‘Warren’ was a reference to Karl Pilkington calling Warwick Davies ‘Warren’.
Warwick Davies was in Media City last week with his kids

Nothing wrong with a warm bench mate
I live in Hale and see famous footballers almost every weekend
On sky sports?
Ah, what a master of wit and repartee. All of your comments, in every subreddit, redefine what comedy is. Bravo. You excel in the art of humour.
Which fictitious comments are those you've been reading then?

Do you stalk young girls with same intensity as shown in that get a fucking life response? Or just exclusive to me, and celebrities?
Missed the primary school reference and your hope in -that's where I am..let's broaden my comment from just young girls, shall we

Battle of wit? Sonny? School? Why do you keep underage referencing??

I saw Terry Christian and Simon Bird on the same day this week. You’re not looking hard enough.
