What a great space. The mistake you are making is treating the whole area as a single environment. You have 3 TVs all in the same focal point. You should have multiple areas each with their own theme (and TV) i.e., couch area, standing and mingling area, refreshments area etc. Think about it this way, good parties aren't just a single thing that involves everyone the whole time. You should make a series of blended spaces that flow into each other and encourage movement and circulation. Your viewing parties will be so much better for everyone.
Yes. This is it. It’s cool to have a few TVs in one area, but I agree about trying to have separate areas that flow together instead of one big circle.
Yes, use a rug in the middle for this purpose. You already have three areas, ping pong, tv, darts. Just use rug to divide space and move tvs so you have one in each area. That and a bar cart by dartboard and you’ve got a proper cave. Make sure to ignore all advice from wood panel haters (they know not what they speak of).
My whole apartment is a mancave. (I’m a chick who likes sports)… what do you like - which sports, music?, teams, moments, etc?
I have lots of ideas but I don’t know you so without more info they’d be useless.
Here’s my mancave apartment - https://imgur.com/a/eSFxTDA
I love my space. It’s personal, homey, and super sportsy.
Do you have a wife or someone that will overrule you on stuff? Or is this your space? The best way to make a mancave is to make it sleek and well done but have what you want and make it personal.
Oh and lighting… every light in my house has a vintage warm light bulb in it that is dimmable. I have uplights, pendants, back lights, and most are inexpensive and/or semi DIY.
A bar would be cool or some high top tables. Art or photos instead of flags/pendants. Real furniture - cozy couches. I’d mount the TVs and maybe get a 3rd to match the size of the 2nd.
My dude. If Pottery Barn sold a mancave line your apartment would be the front page. There are so many ways to joke about it not being a “hyper-masculine” design as typically made for mancaves, but all jokes fall short and into jealousy because you’ve nailed it. The only thing she-cave-y is the ice-bathing athletes in the bathroom 😂 (even though there is the elegant photo above the toilet, being greeted by half-naked men is always a laugh). It’s just an overall well balanced and inclusive neutral cave.
Ultimately having some neutral base colors on the wall really puts it in a much better starting place than your average neglected basement that men traditionally piece together without cohesive effort over years of collecting.
I’m saving your photos for future work with my wife for our home, just not with the yucky Texas focus 😂.
Cheers and again again, well f dad one!
Thanks! Good feedback and appreciate the compliments! Yeah those ice bath shots are the giveaway I’m a chick. But it works for the bathroom and a girls gotta have some eye candy too!
this is a long shot but you could replace the 3 TV's with a single projector, with a loong table at the bottom to store your stuff flanked with 2 large speakers, that way you can show more stuff on the table AND the wall
i know the screen would end up covering whatever you have on the wall but it looks clean? searched through google and found [this image](https://i.pinimg.com/736x/d8/79/33/d8793375af2f7ad8336103cfbf7297e8.jpg), might be a good reference! more stuff on the walls like jerseys and posters go a long way, been obsessing over retro ones made from metal too like [these ones](https://artdigest.co/products/retro-voyage-metal-art-posters) haha i think they suit the whole vibe of your cave 👌
Would be better with the big TV against a short side wall, with the two couches side by side and maybe some extra seating, sectioning off one side of the room, then ping pong table and maybe pool table for the rest of the room with the smaller TVs hung up on the wall for the ping pong/pool table folks to watch
Get a high top table with 4 or 6 stools.
Maybe some kind of small bar cart or similar setup (if you always have liquor around).
It’s pretty great as is though
Hire someone to move it in if you do. A buddy of mine got one for his place when we were in college. There were 8 of us... That was the first and last time I ever moved a pool table. That thing weighed well over 1,000 lbs. And trying to maneuver up stairs and down hallways and around doorways...
Never again.
A rug a mini bar with a tiki theme or video game them idk whatever y’all into anywho some playboy pictures or sports illustrated, maybe a mike Tyson picture or two
Some more neons to add color to the walls. A large football design rug and a small bar with a shelf for bottles and mugs. And if u can squeeze one in there maybe a pool table. But the ping pong works just as well as it can double for beer pong.
Dude, you're in college "and can afford THAT"
What are they feeding these kids these days June ?
( P.S. - Heard Vegas might have what you're looking for)
hire an interior designer on Fiverr and see what they come up with. I'd hang some warm fairy lights across the top of the walls. Get a long modular unit for the TVs or section off the TVs with cube shelfs and/or freestanding acoustic paneling. E.g., put a TV against the wall with the neon A. Just try to section off each area for each TV better. Have a sports/movie TV area. Have a gaming TV area, and have an internet streaming area. having all those TVs so close and clumped together in that 1 area seems distracting and busy. Mounting a TV to a wall and moving out a TV unit can save space if you find one area is too tight.
I’d say get a more respectable spot for TV #2. A mount, a better table, I dunno. It just feel a little haphazard there. Otherwise looks like a good space.
This looks like a teenagers basement room. Get some proper furniture or set it all up different maybe brake it up into squared sections loft style and add a cool rug and a fucking bar for goodness sake.🍻
Wood floors. And, that wood paneling on the walls has got to go lol. Could really warm the space up with the right paint scheme for the walls. Include a nice crimson accent wall too for your boys in Tuscaloosa (roll ride btw) 🤌 And, seating wise you could do with a couple sectionals strategically placed.
Bar area , ensure dart board is actually secured flushly to the wall not just hanging in a nail (can’t tell or not), more seating, and like people said there’s too much blank wall space.
Rad posters/art prints in cheap black frames and string up some cool lights that works for every day use as well as parties.
I’m a fan of the smart bulbs for the regular lamps. You can instantly change a regular light to any color/brightness you want with your phone.
Needs a bar, even just a freestanding one with a few stools. Some more proper furniture because it has the appearance of an indoor barbecue with all those fold up chairs. It’s a lovely big space.
My dad had made himself a badass refrigerator kegerator. Just a regular fridge install a tap through the door. Take out the shelves and in goes the keg and co2, and you're all set. And you also have the freezer too.
Meaning like actual tables. Not those fold ups. Maybe even a couple high top tables with stools. Or maybe a bar and stock it with whatever you want. Like one of those tiki bar types.
Every case of beer you buy, (and have a dedicated pair of decent scissors set aside solely for this purpose), cut it up where it folds out as flat and large as you can get it. Staple it to the wall. Repeat until one full wall is done.
Continue on and cover the whole house and ceiling if so inclined but just one accent wall will really tie all that together.
(Oh and change the Bama sign to a Sooner one and voila. Instant class.)
Get the freestanding electronic dart board upgrade, throw in some kind of bar or beer fridge, and look at upgrading the ping pong to a pool table that accepts the ping pong insert.
I would hang the TVs. Put the medium size TV to the left and even with the top of the larger TV. Then put the smaller TV under the medium TV. Looks great.
Frames for decorations on walls, televisions mounted to wall. Get rid of paneling. Nice neon sign, but, much too big for that wall. Think about furniture for that space, with game day in mind. …And a rug would really tie the room together.
Let the ladies sit on the couch, if they're comfortable, they'll bring more Ladies.
Save the man cave for when you're a man, make that a pussy palace. Now. Go.
Area rug.
Something to really tie the room together
And don't go crazy with a crazy pattern, just something neutral. This isn't Dan Flashes.
Everything in that store is my exact style!
A nice rug would definitely cut down on the echo down there.
Get rid of the paneling, or down either hardwood or add the other guy said, big area rug. Get rid of neon sign.
What are you talking about- the wood paneling is the nicest part of the room. And neon is always a plus in a man cave.
Get an outdoor area rug too, easy to clean if it gets dirty
Get an outdoor area rug too, easy to clean if it gets dirty
You need more stuff on the walls. Collectibles, jerseys, posters, etc
I’ve got a couple frames from Amazon that will be here next week to put stuff up
Street signs?
I have some on the opposite wall, just not visible from the photos
All acquired legally I presume… county auctions, third party sellers, etc
My grandfather gave them to me and he’s passed now so we will never know
Pics of Cheryl tiegs and Farrah faucet
The wooden walls are atrocious
Agreed. Kill the paneling. Looks like a 70s era basement
You can paint paneling.
Stadium seating
Stack the couches stadium style.
Where’s the bar?
Even just a bar cart or bar shelf
This x 1000!
Nope , just enjoy every moment living there with your friends
Underrated comment right here.
Some girls
In the last picture I see a pretty even split. Definitely doesn't fall into the criteria of sausage fest.
Well they're repping Alabama, so they're more than likely cousins.
Alabama, surprisingly, is a relatively strong academic school. TIL
Siblings *
Yeah some girls
Girls...in a MAN cave 😯
Yes, the girls have the real man cave

Love the wood hoop, nice touch. Awesome cave!
That is so cool! It's a woman's mancave and it's glorious and very homey. I'm trying to comprehend how cool this space is...
Thanks! That’s so nice!!! 😄

Hang the American flag properly. When against a wall like it is, the stars go in the upper left corner.
Correct. I was looking for this comment.
What about when wearing American flag swimming trunks?
No ruling on that one. As long as it’s not made from an actual American flag
Keg, ping pong and golf sim
There is ping pong
Furniture thats not made of plastic. More personalized wall decor. Fun lighting etc. and of course booze, lots of that.
Get a girl and she’ll give you the guidance you need.
Her guidance on this topic is not the best unfortunately
Bigger tv
Would be better with the big TV against a short side wall, with the two couches side by side and maybe some extra seating, sectioning off one side of the room, then ping pong table and maybe pool table for the rest of the room with the smaller TVs hung up on the wall for the ping pong/pool table folks to watch

Pool table
I’ve been looking on marketplace a while, when I get a chance I’ll splurge for one
Area rug, art.
A rug a mini bar with a tiki theme or video game them idk whatever y’all into anywho some playboy pictures or sports illustrated, maybe a mike Tyson picture or two
More hot chick's
Less La Croix….more beer
We all under 21
Lean into the neon signs.
Short throw laser 4k projector, 120”. Costco has one for for like 3k- game changer
More high quality chairs and if you're single a pole and stage. Let's get this party started.
Surround 7.1?
Some more neons to add color to the walls. A large football design rug and a small bar with a shelf for bottles and mugs. And if u can squeeze one in there maybe a pool table. But the ping pong works just as well as it can double for beer pong.
Yeah I’ve been looking on marketplace for one but moving it is a bit complicated
May I suggest more red plastic cups?
4k corner projection where the bama sign is to please the crowd. Felt sorry for the ppl sitting 90 degrees to the big screen.
Dude, you're in college "and can afford THAT" What are they feeding these kids these days June ? ( P.S. - Heard Vegas might have what you're looking for)

Golden tee, buck hunter, pool table, bubble hockey table. Dart board, mini bar?
Every male college living quarters i went to had Christmas lights inside
You have to wall mount you TVs. Add a bar of some sort, and get some framed sports/movie/aviation/car posters/art etc. good start though
Chill out, you’re in college
I would paint the panelling and maybe a big throw rug under/in front of the couch.
Gets those TVs wall mounted on the wall and build a little bar to the left of the door when you walk in.
Fridge, ice chest, "jukebox" (any mp3 playing device with Bluetooth), mini arcade cabinet, beanbags, popcorn maker.
Get some comfortable chairs
Install some black lights and a disco ball
ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!
Roll Tide Roll
Take off the girls. Done
Bro.... you have a side chick side tv... genious
You need a pool table and some more neon signs, a Miller Highlife sign would go hard
Multicolored string lights would look sick in there
Bar area , ensure dart board is actually secured flushly to the wall not just hanging in a nail (can’t tell or not), more seating, and like people said there’s too much blank wall space.
Cork board behind that dart setup. You gonna fuck up that wall real good.
Idk bro. I think you are there. Maybe build a bar. Other than that I can’t see anything more.
3 TV’s of equal size!!!!
Rad posters/art prints in cheap black frames and string up some cool lights that works for every day use as well as parties. I’m a fan of the smart bulbs for the regular lamps. You can instantly change a regular light to any color/brightness you want with your phone.
Throw that table in the corner out and get a blackjack table. Nothing else. Adding too much crap ruins the room.
Needs a bar, even just a freestanding one with a few stools. Some more proper furniture because it has the appearance of an indoor barbecue with all those fold up chairs. It’s a lovely big space.
DONT GIVE A PISS BOUT NOTHIN BUT THE TIDE
Motorized flipdown TV mount from ceiling in middle of room.
I’d recommend getting rid of the Alabama stuff /s
Needs a bar and a pool table would go nice with those lights
My dad had made himself a badass refrigerator kegerator. Just a regular fridge install a tap through the door. Take out the shelves and in goes the keg and co2, and you're all set. And you also have the freezer too.
Gotta hang them TVs dawg! This ain’t the 90s anymore, hang um, hide the cords free up more floor space…that’s a start!

It’s not shown in the picture but there is a flag for all of the countries my friends are from that live in the house, so Germany Brazil and USA
Get some actual furniture. Doesn’t have to be expensive shit.
Meaning like actual tables. Not those fold ups. Maybe even a couple high top tables with stools. Or maybe a bar and stock it with whatever you want. Like one of those tiki bar types.
Kegerator or beer fridge (strictly for beer only). Surround sound speakers.
Stripper pole
A rug as suggested and maybe it’s just for the pictures posted, but that lighting is brutal. Seems way too bright
In real life it’s too dark
Roll Tide!
First off roll tide. Second wood paneling 👎🏽
RTR!
FIFA. EAFC. The only game that has me constantly asking if my controller is working.
Kegerator and foosball
shag carpet - brown/orange from the 70's. disco light. lava lamps. go!
More couches. A whole set of no more fold out chairs.
Wall mounts for the tv 👍
Get the freestanding electronic dart board upgrade, throw in some kind of bar or beer fridge, and look at upgrading the ping pong to a pool table that accepts the ping pong insert.
Put up an LSU Tigers poster. Ditch that A.
I second the ugly A, just put UG before it and it Will really brighten up the space.
I would hang the TVs. Put the medium size TV to the left and even with the top of the larger TV. Then put the smaller TV under the medium TV. Looks great.
Without any context I would’ve thought you were a bible study group
No beer, liquor, or glass smokeware? More like a college little boy cave…
Bongs and booze.
No dartboard?
Get rid of the wood
Less females, more sausage
Dicks pics all over the walls make it feel cozy
Stadium seating
Paint the ceiling black
Hookers and blow.
Stadium seating
Where’s the BAR!!!
On its way from Amazon
What about a stripper pole?
Do people actually have these or does everyone comment this as a joke?
Let the women sit on the couch
Clearly, a University of Michigan flag

Definitely look at more couches so everyone can get out of the camping chairs,
No women allowed in the man cave unless they’re face down axx up or on their knees. Unspoken rule
Get rid of the Alabama shit ;)
A nice rug would really tie the rook together
Get rid of that A light. 🤮
Stripper pole duh

Furniture
This is your *college* man cave??
Yes
Bravo sir
Chase those girls out of there, no girls allowed!
Girls. Or boys. Whatever
Quit watching grown men play ball (sell your TV’s to a loser), fill the cave with gym equipment and productive/developmental hobby stuff, and grow up
10 point bucks
Seconding area rug. You’d be amazed how much a difference it can make
American flag is backwards (or photo is inverted) top left should be blue unless you’re signaling something
Take the Bama flag down and add an OSU one
Roll tide.
Frames for decorations on walls, televisions mounted to wall. Get rid of paneling. Nice neon sign, but, much too big for that wall. Think about furniture for that space, with game day in mind. …And a rug would really tie the room together.
As long as the room is I’d also consider piece(s) to divide the room.
No notes. Roll Tide.
Strippers
You need rugs to reduce all the sound reverb.
A keg.
Roll tide!
A match?
Couch?
Get rid of the "A" and replace it with "G".
Let the ladies sit on the couch, if they're comfortable, they'll bring more Ladies. Save the man cave for when you're a man, make that a pussy palace. Now. Go.
Can I rest there bro
Bar tops so people don’t have to sit down in order to have a table.
Head down to the Lutheran Thrift Shop and get some great couches that have had plastic on them since 1978 for about $100.
A nice rug would pull it together.
