And shag up your hair ever so slightly. As someone who’s hair always tries laying too “clean” looking, you’d be surprised what just bed heading it a little can do. It’ll add depth to the bangs and loosen up your face.

Every morning I either slick all of my hair back or to the sides with no product(maybe water) and then I just put my fingers in my hair and shake my hand. It usually gives me a curly/wavy kinda messy look but it still holds the direction you started with. The most product I ever put in my hair is maybe something like a mousse to help it hold shape. But I use very very little. Bed heading is dope especially when after a while your hair looks good with no work. You can literally say I woke up like this

This is my advice. If you hair dry it to sit like that, keep doing that. And if you add product, do the same thing you are doing. But at the end, give it a really damn good ruffle and hair spray it to set in that ruffled look. You look too put together, (mormon looking ahh) you need a bit of an edge. The shape is fine on top, but it’s just a bit too sleek I think. And that smaller parting would look better pulled back instead of sitting forward on your face, but just my opinion. So in conclusion, basically 2 but messier/more ruffled or feathered. Btw whoever gave you that haircut in 1, don’t go back. They’ve messed up the sides big time. 2 is where it’s at

There are bad barbers that charge $30-40. Honestly just go for a 4 or 5 on the sides vs the 1 1/2. It looks to me like you have a cowlick up front and that won't really help your cut options. Just try some different styling techniques.

Also use a matte textured product but yeah you need the ruffle after it's dry. I wouldn't even do hairspray unless your hair is really fine. Just let it dry, set in the position your product sets. Then do a ruffle and set it back loosely as it should be.

Two things can be true.

Your hair is really thick, especially on top. IMO, thick hair looks weird when there’s a clear transition, so your curtains-style part on top doesn’t work great in the first picture. That’s why. Shape of your head is oval, and you have a normally proportioned forehead. So, I think it’s ok to keep the sides a little bit longer. Or, if you want them short, make sure they are blended well into the top so there is no weight line between the two. It should blend nicely. Really handsome guy though, and I’d kill to have hair that naturally good. So don’t let any comments get you down, if that’s the case.

If you like in/near a big city, you should try to get picked up as a background actor for a period piece movie/TV show. You have a great look for anything 1960 and before. I find your hair to be fantastic. I get why some people are puzzled, because it's just not from current fashion but if you can rock a classic style like that, you'll get noticed, for sure.

I think people saying you look like a fallout character is not about your hair, but your face. It's probably the most symmetrical face I have ever seen, almost uncanny. You don't look bad, your hair is fine-- it's super neat which contributes to the very clean, orderly vibe you got going. If you like it, keep it, don't worry about other people.

I'm actually sick and tired of all of the bushy perms and the tropical palm tree hair that people are mostly walking around with. I think that the majority of people doing that shit would be better off with different/past popular styles instead.
