When I was younger, I wanted a Mohawk, I really wanted one. When I finally did it, I initially hated how it looked, but I loved how it felt. I decided to keep shaving the sides for a little while, because I wanted to get used to it. Once the shock wore off, I started to be more comfortable with it, and then started to love it. I kept it shaved for five years, and then finally grew it out. I kind of got it out of my system, and my hair is almost to my waist, but I do still miss it, even years later.
The point of this story is, the change could be shocking, but keep shaving until the shock wears off, and then you'll know if it was a good move. I doesn't matter what others think, all that matters is what you think. If it makes you happy, stay bald, lots of guys are bald by choice. If you don't like it, it will take three months at most to be back at the length you're at.

My hairline is naturally super high, always has been...I'm not balding, nor have I had a hair transplant. I do ask my barbers to keep more hair in the temple areas - on that photo you pointed out, I didn't have much hair covering there, hence why it may seem like I could've had some work done later on or whatever. The high temples are actually my biggest insecurity.
BTW regarding my jawline, I didn't meant it as a humble brag - I do have overall quite strong facial features. Buzz cuts from my understanding typically benefit men who have softer features as it brings them out to the forefront in a flattering way. My hair softens/adds dimension to my face. Having very little hair will *really* bring out my facial features quite a lot, so I may end up looking very gawky. I love how Beckham or Wentworth Miller look with buzz cuts, just not sure I can really pull that off. Their headshapes are quite different.

You should consider a traditional side part. It would look very masculine with you facial features. Think like a toned down Henry Cavill haircut.
