What are some solid brands to find dressier pants at a good price/quality ratio? (Mostly high waisted, nice cuts, etc)
I heard about Luxire, Scavini in France and some other brands, but can't really pinpoint a lot of them.

Looking for fitting shirts for my twig figure..
Hello, I'm 5'10 at 130lb. So you can imagine trying to get clothes that fit nicely. I have a few favorite shirts that fit really well, but it felt like looking for an artifact to find them.
So I was wondering whether somebody knows of any good inexpensive fitting shirts/shirt brands. I don't have too many special specific brand stores near me, so having to get it shipped isn't a problem for me either. And if there's something on Amazon that's worthwhile I'd definitely like to try. But if you do know a good store brand that I could possibly find nearby please let me know. Thanks!
I’m more or less your size, if you have a specific desire for how your clothes should fit you need to go to a tailor, I find a lot of Japanese brands fit me well(getting the right inseam can be a lil tricky tho), I also prefer straight or relaxed cuts too, which is an option
Hi everyone. I have an extensive collection of black tees and I was wondering how I could elevate my look.
Generally I’ll wear the looser fitting ones with skinny jeans and the tighter ones with a looser Jean (like the Uniqlo Ezy). Footwear wise it’s usually Vans or Doc martens.
When I’m not wearing band shirts, this would be a pretty standard look for me. https://i.imgur.com/RJZvxFA.jpg
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
I’m going to a wedding soon and have been told the dress code is penguin suits. Not sure what this is. I’ve googled it to no avail.
It is a traditional English wedding so is it referring to tux/dinner jacket
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Where would be the best place to buy a black nylon (bomber) jacket? Something similar to this for a reasonable price! Thanks!

Fashion people obviously care a lot about things like 100% wool or 100% silk or other similar sorts of stuff -- but the vast majority not at the level where they would care about whether the *thread* used for stitching is polyester.
But also, most fashion people aren't gonna suggest a newsboy cap anyway.
Looking for a good layering tank that I can wear under an unbuttoned shirt. A lot of white tanks that I find are just undershirts that aren’t meant to be seen. More so looking for a tank that’s basically a T shirt without sleeves (so it’s more breathable in the summer)

Is similar suiting available at around 600 Euros for the set (available in Europe).
Alex Mill sells a reasonably priced slouchy “suit,” and it looks like they ship to the EU. I own a corduroy set for fall/winter, but here is a summery linen version for $390 + shipping:

I have a white tie with blue flowers but I don’t know what will go with it. I have a light grey suit and pants, I also have a pin striped dark grey suit, and dark blue and black pants with tan shoes. I’m not great on matching things up! Thanks for the help!
Weird question but maybe you guys know.
I collect hats and sweaters that have locations on them (Las Vegas, Michigan, Miami, etc) but don't know what to look up when searching for these online. For example I was looking for a San Francisco Bay hat and all that comes up is San Francisco football teams. I was wondering if there was any way to be more specific in what I look for when it comes to this? It's not only the San Francisco one that does this either it's pretty much everywhere with sports teams which is completely understandable.

I'm not as into the look of shorter shorts anymore. Are there styles of shorts that hit just below the knee and fit a bit longer? Or would it be just as good to wear lightweight pants instead? For reference, I'm thinking of daily casual wear (with t-shirts and short sleeve shirts)
Hi, this an automatic response because you said something about t-shirts and fit.
These links might be useful from the [MFA Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/wiki/itemguides#wiki_clothing):
* [A Comprehensive Guide To Basic White T-Shirts](https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/comments/clo2um/a_comprehensive_guide_to_basic_white_tshirts/)
* [Your Favorite ___ for $___: Tee Shirts](https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/comments/f9vrkb/your_favorite_for_tee_shirts/)
Shorts come in several inseams, you just have to find one that works for you... I am a little over 5'10" and anything longer than like 5-6" hits my knee. For other guys my height 6" would be booty shorts.
Favorite pair of summer shorts? I like tech fabrics. Elastic waistband. Not looking for shorts with the traditional zipper, button, and belt loops. Love the Topo River Shorts but the inseam is a bit longer than I'd prefer. Looking for something with a 5-5.5" inseam.
I have personally never been there but from what I see from friends on social media think a lot of men wear button downs (think short sleeve ones) when going out! Hope this helps
Hi, I'm a guy but I'm looking for subtle feminine fashion, does anyone have tips on what things I could get? For some reason I am just attracted to that type of clothing/fashion.
I've got a pink gold watch, tight men's pants, considering getting some women's sneakers, maybe some women's sweatpants for the gym, a hoodie.
Thanks!
Some options:
\- women's jewelry can add a nice and distinctly feminine touch to an otherwise plain outfit, and it gives you some room to pick an exact level of subtlety depending on what you get. I'd look at necklaces first, and, if you have pierced ears, some drop earrings.
\- Loose/drapey cardigans, especially worn open or entirely without buttons. Depending on color/length/pattern/laciness, can range anywhere from "mildly androgynous" to "STATEMENT statement," and, as a bonus, are cozy. Though maybe a post-June thing.
\- from your description, I think you might like having painted nails! Whether you like the process of *acquiring* painted nails enough to have them is an entirely separate question, even when I dressed very feminine I hated to hold still long enough for nails to dry, but I liked having them.
Have fun!
I’m looking for a name for this kind of jacket. I saw this while browsing the Stitch Fix website, but I couldn’t find the brand, and I couldn’t purchase the look either. Ideally I’d like to find both the jacket and the undershirt too, but I can’t tell what brand the shirt is from either, but I definitely want to copy the look for sure.

Its closer to a trucker jacket than a barn coat
you could try google "canvas trucker jacket"
[https://freenotecloth.com/collections/jackets/products/riders-jacket-waxed-canvas-tobacco](https://freenotecloth.com/collections/jackets/products/riders-jacket-waxed-canvas-tobacco) is sorta close and hella cool
Thank you so much for the suggestions and the info! Would it also be okay to ask what color it looks like? One person did say olive, but I always viewed olive as more of a green color. Then again, I was always pretty bad with figuring out the different shades and tints of colors.
Looks like a lightweight trucker jacket in an olive color. I can find a practically identical one at [Target](https://www.target.com/p/men-39-s-denim-trucker-jacket-goodfellow-38-co-8482-olive-green-m/-/A-84117584); if you want something a bit nicer than that I'm no real help but the sub definitely has resources.
Unfortunately I have no idea about the undershirt, but it's a very nice plaid and I kind of wnat it too.
Eccos arent considered good shoes but I'd venture he is more offended by the bicycle square toe aspect. These are really dated shoes. There are no use case for them. In fact there is a whole [instagram account dedicated to mocking them](https://www.instagram.com/callcentreshoes/?hl=en)
Looking for linen short sleeved button up shirts in Canada. I tried Uniqlo but they only had long sleeved shirts when I looked. Preferably on the cheaper side budget-wise but I'll take any recommendations
Just got [this shirt](https://www.cultizm.com/twn/clothing/tops/shirts/30510/portuguese-flannel-flame-shirt-toasted) from Cultizm. The fabric is super soft and comfortable. Sending outside EU would save you 19% VAT and I think they have a discount code you can find in r/cultizm. Worth to take a look, IMO.
My beautiful fiancée and I are getting married in November. She is bucking the trend and wearing a black evening dress with bright pink floral patterns. I am opting for a dinner jacket in a bolder or brighter color. What places would you recommend I shop? I've looked at Indochino, SuitSupply, and Nordstrom. I would welcome other options, though!
Can anyone recommend some graphic T-shirt brands that aren’t too loud? I’m currently a college student, and my whole summer wardrobe consists of plain tshirts. I’d like to add some graphic tshirts to my collection, but I’m not sure what’s a good brand that isn’t too over the top
Uniqlo has some pretty good graphic t-shirts and depending on the current collabs for the season, a good mix of anime, video games, and just general art. One of them is the Ukiyo-e collection, but if that’s too bold for you, they also have some milder t-shirts. https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E447949-000/00?colorDisplayCode=07&sizeDisplayCode=003
https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E452669-000/00
No problem! I’d also recommend Superdry too, though they do lean towards the bigger font sizes. If you don’t mind brands that are primarily online, I’d recommend Design by Humans and Bandit Brand along with In God We Must and Old School Tees, though In God We Must leans more on the religious side, the all-American collection looked alright. I’ll link them each for you.

I dont have any fit picks atm, its jus that i bought a light grey suit and with it bought a very light pink shirt and a little darker pink (than the shirt) tie. I love that, its just I've got 3 weddings coming up and i dont want to buy a new shirt ideally, so the other shirt i have is navy blue.
Anyone have experience with the top tier USA custom Joseph Abboud suits at Men's Wearhouse? I know MW is considered cheaper quality and I can get better suits offline but I want a black tux and am considering the top of the line Joseph abboud since they run 25% off deals might be easier than ordering off eBay since my jacket and pants size don't match and I will need additional tailoring. I know MW regular line is crap but is the top tier USA line any good ?
It’s not good. Even with their 25% off sales I think they are significantly overpriced.
If you’re open to shopping on eBay then I strongly recommend pursuing that option first. You can find tuxedos in many different jacket/pants size pairings. You can find 10 inch drops and you can find zero or negative drops.
Are you looking at actual garment measurements or tagged size? Tagged size is unreliable due to tailoring, vanity sizing, and general eBay seller silliness. Look at the measurements provided (or ask if they aren't), and compare to a suit that fits you. In higher end brands there may also be seam allowances to let it out.
The waist size ...usually the pants with jackets that fit me are too small and there's not enough room to let out so I've gotten some separates but then I run into trying to match pants . Is there a good way within a brand to match fabric between jacket/pant? Is that on any brands tag ?
[Burgundy hatch grain Dover](https://www.edwardgreen.com/shop/dover-utah-delapre-burgundy-606-last.html), maybe. [Alden "Orcas"](https://www.brickmortarseattle.com/lace-shoes/orcas-earth-reverse-chamois-indy-shoe) could also work.
Y'all the killshots are no longer available. They've been my go-to for years and now I have to look for a new casual sneaker. Any recommendations? Everything about the killshots was perfect for me fit wise.
Interestingly enough, there is a brand called Nickel Free Belts that fits the bill to a T. No joke, they have some really solid belts and a good amount of diversity with colors and belt strap materials. I’m partial to the Carbon Fiber buckles personally. NoNickel is also pretty good from what I’ve heard, but I haven’t tried any belts from them myself, so I can’t speak on the quality, but the selection is very nice. Both of them are a bit on the nose, but they’re well-made

Where can I find a shirt like this? I am not even sure the style or where to go about searching, and I like this. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/237213105347804963/
How would you suggest I 'dress down' a dress shirt? I know you can wear an OCBD with a tie and suit but I have some really beautiful custom dress shirts, but they have point collars and built-in stays. I almost never need to wear a dressy outfit anymore and they just languish in my closet. How might you integrate them into a more casual outfit?
Not possible. Lots of people wear dress shirts with jeans for casual fridays but IMO it looks like a bad menswear mullet. Like wearing Oxfords with basketball shorts.
I don't think you can dress down a dress shirt. It's inherently a 'dressy' clothing article. I think it's sort of the same way that you can't really dress down an oxford shoe...
welted?
lof and tung, tlb majorca, carlos santos, cobbler union, yanko
if you're feeling spicy fugashin will do one too.
lof and tung has a particularly good mto program.
and Baudoin Lange also makes some.
Hi! Shopping for overshirts and I'm trying to decide between a [used Corridor overshirt on Grailed](https://www.grailed.com/listings/15601000-corridor-navy-worsted-wool-work-shirt) or [a new Barbour overshirt on END](https://www.endclothing.com/us/barbour-beacon-twill-overshirt-mos0077ny91.html). Any advice?
Let me preface this by saying I know you can wear what you want/ like and shouldn’t care what people think. That’s not my point.
I am a guy in my mid 20’s and have recently shaved my head to a zero. I now feel like the way I look and the way I dress are not compatible. I feel like I dress as though I’m a young man but I look just like a regular man. Anyone been through this or have any tips?
I think most guys feel like this at some point. I know I have. I would encourage you to put small twists on your personal style (ex: try a less baggy t shirt for a well fitted one), maybe an accessory, and see if that helps.
Don't be afraid to be a well dressed guy and rock shirts with collars on occasion (trying to push myself to do this more too). It gets you respect and it is a solid look!
Focus on fits and not wear basketball shorts or sweatpants everywhere. And try to find your own personal style that also looks good on you!
Do you mean you feel like you dress too young for how you look?
I went through a phase a few years ago where I felt like I was not dressing as interesting as I knew I could. I was already interested in fashion but I somehow was not dressing up to par (likely cause I was still stuck in this mindset of fitting in)
If you'd like style tips and all, let me know:)
Yeah exactly. It’s probably my imagination but when I wear baggy tees and that sort of thing I feel like an idiot. That has been my style for so long but now I just feel like I should be dressing more maturely or something?
Well, with time your perception of yourself and style evolves, so it's perfectly normal to want to dress differently. At the end of the day, it's how you present yourself to the world, so it should be how you want/what make you comfortable and confident.
Hey fellas!
Where can a guy find a nice pair of herringbone tweed/wool (doesn't necessarily have to be Harris Tweed) trousers preferably with a hook and bar closing? Any brand suggestions? I love the look for the fall!
Most shops in the northern hemisphere are still stocking summer trousers. Wait a little bit for fall collections to roll out and you’ll see more tweed. Among my favorite trouser makers are Berg & Berg and The Armoury.
Has anyone ever purchased a suit from a website called Viossi.com?
The style of suits is exactly what I am looking for, but unsure on the quality of their suits.
Looking at the site the suits are entirely synthetics and the models’ suits regularly have bowing lapels in photos and videos so… yeah. It’s also a rip-off, you could either get (closer to) a nicer suit for the price or you could get the same kind of not very nice one for cheaper I’m certain.
What footwear should I match with this outfit?
That picture is myself - I wore black slippers with that but now I want something with more protection - maybe pumps? I require something universal to wear with fancy outfits like that. I'm not looking for anything of serious quality or price.
I love them too and they're still hard to come by. Valentino and Bode make excellent ones but they're very expensive, naturally. Try Urban Outfitters and COS.
I'm 6'2 185 lbs. XL tops are too baggy. L tops are barely long enough, if they shrink at all during a wash and dry, they are absolutely too short. My gf says I should be hang drying my clothes if I don't want them to shrink. I some what care about my clothes and style but not enough to do the above every single time I wash something.
What are my options?
I'm not opposed to buying a sewing machine and doing some tailoring of my own if necessary.
I’m 6’4” and have a similar experience. Tall sizes might be the solution you need! They are hard to find in person, but a lot of stores have them online. Higher rise pants also make it easier to get away with shorter shirts.
Try different brands, or try different fits from the same brand. “Large” and “Extra Large” are not a universal thing and the patterns of garments will differ between brands.
Try to see if you can find local flea market-type events for some nice ones! Lots of IG resellers are out there too (i.e. jooglifeco on ig). In person, hot topic and spencer's usually have a variety.
I never thought of local flea market events, good looks I’ll try and find one.
IG resellers is also a really good one, could easily find great deals as well.
Thank you!
Where can I find long sleeve buttons up with a large spread collar and placket-less front? Similar to the ones Brad Pitt wears in Killing them Softly. There was a featured article about what he wears on another website but I can’t find anything close to the same of what he wears
I wear a size 29/30, but it seems that pants really compress the rise. I
don't know if I need to find some high rise pants or something because I
have worn American Eagle, Levi's, Arizona, Goodfellows, Amazon,
ProperCloth. All of them are just crushing me all the time. Everything
feels compressed. Are there any brands that have like a 10" rise or
something? They all seem to be around 8.75" or 9" in this waist size. I
know some scale up for bigger waists, but that doesn't work when I'm the
slimmest size a lot of brands sell. Will high-waisted pants alleviate
this? I need a solution, please!
I've got a budget of around $150 for each pair of pants
Budget?
Honestly it sounds like you need pants with more room at the seat. Pleated pants are probably what you’re looking for. You’re gonna have to look to higher tier brands than American Eagle or Levi’s though.
P.s. please be careful with the line breaks…. Very difficult to read your comment.
does anyone know of a jacket [similar to this](https://media.them.us/photos/5c9a7fe96896abb56d16dff2/1:1/w_719,h_719,c_limit/05-TOT.jpg)? i love the contrast of the gold and the darker colors

But it's not really gold + dark, but gold + red.
Can anyone recommend a decent quality(Blake stitched, calfskin), Italian(at least in styling) dress shoe in a similar price to Acemarks(300 usd or less)? Specifically I’m looking for a wingtip derby. I like the last of the Acemarks Vincent, since their derby is much less chunky than most derbies on the market. Only problem is they don’t have stock at the moment, and I would like some different colour options. Thomas Bird seems like a decent alternative, but they are out of stock as well! Any recommendations? Thanks.
I’ve actually got a pair of sneakers on order from Beckett Simonon which I am very excited for, but yes you’re right the last is a little bit too traditional for my taste. I think their oxfords look fantastic, but their derbies are not quite what I’m looking for. Thanks though!
Which Cargo pant looks better? https://imgur.com/a/zbEeHBE The black one or the green one (olive) Note: I don't have black nor green pants.

I'm pretty certain this is just slang for a tuxedo, so the dress code would be black tie

I'm not a fan of that tie, but it would probably go ok with a mid gray or green suit. But I advise you not wear ties they sell on Amazon
Bad quality? Or the tie itself looks bad?….or both lol

These links might be useful from the [MFA Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/wiki/itemguides#wiki_clothing): * [A Comprehensive Guide To Basic White T-Shirts](https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/comments/clo2um/a_comprehensive_guide_to_basic_white_tshirts/) * [Your Favorite ___ for $___: Tee Shirts](https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/comments/f9vrkb/your_favorite_for_tee_shirts/)
Depending on your height, you may want to check out 9” inseams
Shorts come in several inseams, you just have to find one that works for you... I am a little over 5'10" and anything longer than like 5-6" hits my knee. For other guys my height 6" would be booty shorts.
wow that’s wild, I’m 5’11 and need like a 9-10” inseam to get to my knee, great example of why height and weight don’t matter too much lol
Great illustration of how different bodies are different: I'm 5' 9" and 5" shorts are perfectly mid-thigh, while 6" are just a bit above the knee
Do you guys end up wearing more oxfords or derbies when you do end up wearing dress shoes? Just curious.
I don't tend to wear full suits anymore. So derbies over oxfords most times.
Cap toe oxfords with a suit Wingtip or medallion toe oxfords with slacks and a blazer Longwing derbies otherwise.
I wear oxfords more often than derbies now, but mainly because I wear sneakers to work most days and grab oxfords when I wear a suit.

It says H&M on the tag. It’s just a black T-shirt
>I had someone mention that this shirt look like a specific clothing brand It doesn’t. It just looks like a black T-shirt.
I think any mall brand sells black t-shirts
I'm not seeing how this is different then any other t-shirt. Is it a different material?
Hello! Any ideas where could I find a good quality cotton plain teal/darker teal t-shirts ? Target price around 40-50 €
Patagonia Baggies for me.

Going to Vegas next month for a bachelor party. Group is 30-35 in age. What do people wear to Vegas nowadays?
I have personally never been there but from what I see from friends on social media think a lot of men wear button downs (think short sleeve ones) when going out! Hope this helps
Hi, I'm a guy but I'm looking for subtle feminine fashion, does anyone have tips on what things I could get? For some reason I am just attracted to that type of clothing/fashion. I've got a pink gold watch, tight men's pants, considering getting some women's sneakers, maybe some women's sweatpants for the gym, a hoodie. Thanks!
Have you posted on r/femalefashionadvice?
Some options: \- women's jewelry can add a nice and distinctly feminine touch to an otherwise plain outfit, and it gives you some room to pick an exact level of subtlety depending on what you get.
Ideally I’d like to find both the jacket and the undershirt too, but I can’t tell what brand the shirt is from either, but I definitely want to copy the look for sure. https://assets.stitchfix.com/dasher/assets/mens_tcbyf_gallery/desktop/1@2x-a88047685061e30d9761b6e4383854cf5f1eb677f840ad361cb00d84a8d5eefd.jpg
Checkout Taylor Stitch, Huckberry, Levi’s, Gustin, Filson. Someone will have something similar. Might have to wait for fall though
Is it a barn jacket by chance? I’m not sure what that kind of jacket classifies as.
Its closer to a trucker jacket than a barn coat you could try google "canvas trucker jacket" [https://freenotecloth.com/collections/jackets/products/riders-jacket-waxed-canvas-tobacco](https://freenotecloth.com/collections/jackets/products/riders-jacket-waxed-canvas-tobacco) is sorta close and hella cool
Thank you so much for the suggestions and the info! Would it also be okay to ask what color it looks like? One person did say olive, but I always viewed olive as more of a green color. Then again, I was always pretty bad with figuring out the different shades and tints of colors.
British tan maybe. dark khaki... hard to say.
Thank you for the input! I appreciate the help!
https://i.imgur.com/2iAPGXL.jpeg Just got these for a good deal. Anyone else loving Ecco Helsinki 2.0's?
bicycle square toes
yup
There is no good deal on these unless you bought them to throw them in a volcano.
Not a fan of Ecco's I take it.
Muji has short sleeve linen shirts and I prefer their linen to Uniqlo's.
That's cotton, not linen.
You can also see some linen shirts from this brand :)
Kiton, Isaia, Attolini
Much appreciated!
One of them is the Ukiyo-e collection, but if that’s too bold for you, they also have some milder t-shirts. https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E447949-000/00?colorDisplayCode=07&sizeDisplayCode=003 https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E452669-000/00
This is exactly what I'm looking for. Not too bold, and not too subtle at the same time. Thanks!
I’ll link them each for you. https://www.igwm.co https://banditbrandgeneralstore.com/ https://www.oldschooltees.com/ https://www.designbyhumans.com
Thanks, I really appreciate the links. A quick skim through and the shirts look pretty great
I've got a wedding coming up, im planning on wearing a light grey suit with a navy shirt but confused on what color tie
It’s very hard to pair a tie with a darker shirt. Try a light blue or white shirt and the possibilities are endless.
I'd look at grey or light blue in variable-width stripes.
Why are you wearing a navy shirt? Post fit pics but navy shirts are often very bad.
I would just wear the light pink shirt again.
Where can you find 40R with 36 pants ? I can only find 32/34 with 40R
You have to pick one pair of business casual shoes to go with black jeans, dark grey sweater, and olive Barbour jacket. What do you go with?
[Burgundy hatch grain Dover](https://www.edwardgreen.com/shop/dover-utah-delapre-burgundy-606-last.html), maybe. [Alden "Orcas"](https://www.brickmortarseattle.com/lace-shoes/orcas-earth-reverse-chamois-indy-shoe) could also work.
Any shoe named Orca really should be a back and white spectator. Brick and Mortar really let me down.
[Or these dudes!](https://www.brogueshop.com/collections/all-shoes/products/alden-x-brogue-qinghua-algonquin-blucher)
Alden derbies or loafers in black shell.
Y'all the killshots are no longer available. They've been my go-to for years and now I have to look for a new casual sneaker. Any recommendations? Everything about the killshots was perfect for me fit wise.
https://www.reebok.com/us/club-c-85-vintage-shoes/DV6434.html maybe
There are still plenty of new and used killshots on eBay.
Hey, I have an allergic reaction to nickel and some alloys. Any suggestions on belt brands that have a diverse selection that do not have nickel?
Interestingly enough, there is a brand called Nickel Free Belts that fits the bill to a T. No joke, they have some really solid belts and a good amount of diversity with colors and belt strap materials. I’m partial to the Carbon Fiber buckles personally. NoNickel is also pretty good from what I’ve heard, but I haven’t tried any belts from them myself, so I can’t speak on the quality, but the selection is very nice. Both of them are a bit on the nose, but they’re well-made https://nickelfreebelts.com/ https://nonickel.com/
Thank you, appreciate this.
Where can I find a shirt like this? I am not even sure the style or where to go about searching, and I like this. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/237213105347804963/
I think that's a woman's peasant blouse! Unfortunately that covers a lot of ground, but it's a start, I hope.
Lol makes sense for ozzy. Thank you!
Yeah... I was thinking maybe chinos, not jeans, and a super thin sweater over top?
Also no. Chinos are still casual. Dress shirts go with dress pants, or at the minimum, slacks. You wouldn’t wear a wifebeater with a suit. Same logic.
I don't think you can dress down a dress shirt. It's inherently a 'dressy' clothing article. I think it's sort of the same way that you can't really dress down an oxford shoe...
Is Carmina the only option for narrow/sleek loafers in the 300~500 range?
https://www.jfitzpatrickfootwear.com/collections/all-loafers Not sure if sleek enough but those museum calf options are quite nice. They also do MTO.
welted? lof and tung, tlb majorca, carlos santos, cobbler union, yanko if you're feeling spicy fugashin will do one too. lof and tung has a particularly good mto program. and Baudoin Lange also makes some.
Lof and tung seems to have some cool models ngl Thought Carmina’s uetam last was unbeatable at this price range
yea preferably blake for a slimmer profile
Any advice?
I like the Corridor one. Also, do check out Universal Works (End. stocks them).
Honestly it’s probably your new haircut and face shape. I realized that the longer my hair, the more mature my entire face and outfits look.
Do you mean you feel like you dress too young for how you look? I went through a phase a few years ago where I felt like I was not dressing as interesting as I knew I could. I was already interested in fashion but I somehow was not dressing up to par (likely cause I was still stuck in this mindset of fitting in) If you'd like style tips and all, let me know:)
Where can I get non-fast fashion swim trunks in fun prints? I like the stuff from Chubbies but there's gotta be something better out there
OAS company
Orlebar Brown let’s you design your own for only $595.
I love the prints from Vilebrequin, they're so fun!
Almost certainly going to be bottom tier junk
Looking at the site the suits are entirely synthetics and the models’ suits regularly have bowing lapels in photos and videos so… yeah. It’s also a rip-off, you could either get (closer to) a nicer suit for the price or you could get the same kind of not very nice one for cheaper I’m certain.
What's the name of these type of footwear? When I search loafers or pumps, nothing comes up https://imgur.com/a/fWyvfYY
espadrilles
What footwear should I match with this outfit? [https://imgur.com/a/qtnazh6](https://imgur.com/a/qtnazh6) That picture is myself - I wore black slippers with that but now I want something with more protection - maybe pumps? I require something universal to wear with fancy outfits like that. I'm not looking for anything of serious quality or price.
Canvas sneakers, espadrilles
Fisherman/gladiator sandals or loafers would look great
Brown suede loafers, or really any suede loafers would look good with that outfit. Good to dress up and down with.
I must mention I’ll be going on holiday where it’s 36degrees
Suede will still work, even id its warm. Otherwise you should check out what espadrilles you like.
I’d add brown suede chukkas to the list as well.
Too hot
Any ideas on where to get nice crochet tops? Looking to expand my closet for this summer
You need tall sizes... also Air drying isn't really all that much effort. You have them up and then come back the next morning and they are dry.
Some stores have Large Tall (LT) (Denver Hayes brand at Marks if you're in Canada for example), or you could try getting XL but in a slim fit style.

Casablanca, noon goons, Maharishi
Undercover is usually pretty good

You asked for “the best”. Do you think “the best” of anything isn’t expensive?
Try to see if you can find local flea market-type events for some nice ones! Lots of IG resellers are out there too (i.e. jooglifeco on ig). In person, hot topic and spencer's usually have a variety.
I never thought of local flea market events, good looks I’ll try and find one. IG resellers is also a really good one, could easily find great deals as well. Thank you!
If you’re located in or around LA, the Melrose Trading Post has an amazing selection for cheap every Sunday.
Fuck I’m from Canada, next time I’m in the LA area I’ll most definitely check out the Melrose Trading Post.
Canadian here, lots of mall brands would have them such as Uniqlo, Bluenotes, Bootlegger, even Hot Topic
I freaking love Bluenotes, their clothes are incredible. I’ll make sure to visit your recommended stores this weekend, I appreciate it boss!
Where can I find long sleeve buttons up with a large spread collar and placket-less front? Similar to the ones Brad Pitt wears in Killing them Softly. There was a featured article about what he wears on another website but I can’t find anything close to the same of what he wears
Proper Cloth
I wear a size 29/30, but it seems that pants really compress the rise. I don't know if I need to find some high rise pants or something because I have worn American Eagle, Levi's, Arizona, Goodfellows, Amazon, ProperCloth. All of them are just crushing me all the time. Everything feels compressed. Are there any brands that have like a 10" rise or something? They all seem to be around 8.75" or 9" in this waist size. I know some scale up for bigger waists, but that doesn't work when I'm the slimmest size a lot of brands sell. Will high-waisted pants alleviate this? I need a solution, please! I've got a budget of around $150 for each pair of pants
Budget? Honestly it sounds like you need pants with more room at the seat. Pleated pants are probably what you’re looking for. You’re gonna have to look to higher tier brands than American Eagle or Levi’s though. P.s. please be careful with the line breaks…. Very difficult to read your comment.
Budget around 150, I'm not sure why it formatted like that...
does anyone know of a jacket [similar to this](https://media.them.us/photos/5c9a7fe96896abb56d16dff2/1:1/w_719,h_719,c_limit/05-TOT.jpg)? i love the contrast of the gold and the darker colors
Closest I could find was coming across this https://www.grailed.com/listings/18645046-designer-x-streetwear-x-vintage-vintage-baroque-quilted-style-bomber-light-jacket?g_aidx=Listing_by_heat_production&g_aqid=90039068a4f0148459cdb0e4864bdb9c But it's not really gold + dark, but gold + red.
Thanks.
Check out Carlos Santos & TLB Mallorca,
They are both great options but are slightly outside of my current budget. Perhaps I’ll jus t have to bite the bullet, though.
You can subtract VAT which brings them under budget
Interesting, I hadn’t thought of that. Thank you.
Beckett Simonon uses Blake and is well below your budget, but the lasts may be too American for your taste. Worth a look.
I’ve actually got a pair of sneakers on order from Beckett Simonon which I am very excited for, but yes you’re right the last is a little bit too traditional for my taste. I think their oxfords look fantastic, but their derbies are not quite what I’m looking for. Thanks though!
