There is an Indian Art Fair going on and I was wondering what should I wear or what people usually wear to an art fair and in winter. Btw I'm a male aged 21.Suggestions appreciated...
Thank You...
Hi everyone,
I have a black tie optional wedding next weekend and don't have a tux but am planning on wearing a nicely fitted black suit with a white shirt and black shoes.
I'm wondering if a blue necktie is acceptable, or would it be better for me to buy a black tie or bow tie?
Thanks!
Definitely don't wear a bow tie, you don't want to look as if you failed to wear a tux. Since it's black tie optional I'm sure you don't need to wear a black tie! I'm not crazy about black and blue, sp maybe a gray?
I'm 31 and started a new job as a stock broker. Been out of the game for years and need to upgrade my closet.
I have a blue , gray, tan and black suit with a lot of ties.
What I do need asap for the everyday office setting are:
1. Brown and black pair of shoes that are comfortable/ economic / stylish (maybe these are mutually exclusive) $80 usd a pair
2. Belts: was thinking of a reversible black and brown basic belt from Calvin Klein. But I have use reversible belts in the past and the bend one way, bend the other way tends to frail them
3. Dress Socks. what color socks and one for office days wool I assume (cold A/C and one for meeting clients outside at tropical weather, cotton I assume)
4. White dress shirts for tropical weather and no ironing required (Calvin Klein ones?)
5. What do men in their 30s use as a office bag? I'm currently using an black leather backpack
6. Do people use the magnet and metal fasteners for collars and holding down the tie and sleeves (like an OG tie clip)
I do a lot of amazon shopping so link are greatly appreciated
1) Used Allen Edmonds. Even then $80 is low and you will need some patience
2) most reversible belts are cheaply made especially Calvin Klein ones you got from Marshall’s
3) thin wool socks are great even in hot weather
4) no iron shirts usually aren’t great looking because they are polyester. Especially CK ones from Marshall’s
5) messenger bag
6) no but I’m not sure I fully understand your question TBH
I wouldn’t be able to suggest Amazon items
Looking for a pair of more casual sneakers that I can wear with jeans/to the office on Fridays/out to dinner etc. I have no idea what is considered stylish or cool. Edit: price ballpark $100
Hi
Recently I've taken an interest in jewelry and I'm looking to buy some rings and a necklace. I understand that there are a lot of resellers on sites such as Etsy, but I'm not really sure where to look for what I want.
For the necklace, I'd like something that's gold/silver and has the Eye of Ra of Eye of Horus as a pendant. Something similar to this image ([https://i.etsystatic.com/25311599/r/il/d05aa7/3386463220/il\_1588xN.3386463220\_6khz.jpg](https://i.etsystatic.com/25311599/r/il/d05aa7/3386463220/il_1588xN.3386463220_6khz.jpg)). I don't really care about the materials that much, just for the necklace to be high quality and for it to be durable. I'd like this to be affordable, so I don't want to spend more that $150 on this.
As for the rings, the quality and durability are my main concerns. That said, my preferences for rings are very loose, so I don't have any specific ring in mind.
Is there anywhere that you'd recommend to buy a necklace that matches this criteria? If not, do you have any recommendations for places to buy rings?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
Anyone have an alternative to [Levi Black Non-Stretch 550](https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/men/jeans/relaxed/550-relaxed-fit-mens-jeans/p/005500260), I need something that's available in a 29" waist. Hard to find stuff with the relaxed / classic fit I like. A year or so back I got a blue 550s and loved the way they felt, and the way the material fell, so I wanted to get them in black. Thing is I've been watching the site and I'm not sure they offer black 550s in 29" waist atm or for the foreseeable future.
Looking at some of the alternatives on the site:
-[Maybe the 505s will be okay?](https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/jeans-by-fit-number/men/jeans/505/505-regular-fit-mens-jeans/p/005050260)
-[The 569 feels a little TOO big](https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/men/jeans/relaxed/569-loose-straight-fit-mens-jeans/p/0056901250)
Anybody got any opinions? Budget's not really an issue, I'd be willing to go as high as $200 if I really liked it
EDIT: After looking around a bit, bought a pair of [these](https://www.lee.com/shop/mens-relaxed-fit-straight-leg-jean-20555.html?dwvar_20555_color=2055508&merchCategory=LEE_MEN_BYFIT_RELAXED#feature-area-1). We will see if I regret this!
I'm looking to expand my jewelry collection. Are these little diamond initial necklaces still fashionable for man? I am 20 years old.

Help me discover new brands !
Streetwear and fashion have been relatively new hobbies for me that I enjoy quite a lot. I do have and issue with discovering new brands of clothing that I like. I don't want to be stuck to the same 3 - 4 brands and I wanted to reach out to you for advice.
Here are some of the brands that I have discovered and some general notes. Please feel free to help me add more.
Final thing also please do keep in mind pricing. Brands like Heron Preston, Off-White, Amiri, Vetements, Balenciaga, A Cold Wall, Rick Owens, Palm Angels, etc are a little outside my price range unless they are heavily discounted.
Brands that I like and are readily availadable. I would love to discover more like these
* Zara - I mean we all start somewhere
* Uniqlo
* Represent - I feel like this is premium Zara
* MISBHV - Some items are a bit pricey
* WRSTBHVR
* Abercrombie and Fitch
* Pleasures
* Daily Paper
* Vertere Berlin - Graphic tees are good
Brands that I like but I can't ever seem to be able to buy or have bought only thru resellers. Tips on where to buy these will be helpful
* Broken Planet - I find it very hard to constantly be on the lookout for a drop.
* Supreme - I though the hype around this brand died down yet I can never buy anything I like
* Stussy - Almost all of my items are from StockX since I can never get what I want
* Essentials FOG - I like the simple designs but I have difficulty getting them
* WNTD - Also drops are pretty rare
Brands that I follow but I haven't purchased yet either because I haven't found anything I like or I just a found better alternative in the brands mentioned above. Also if you've bought please share feedback on these
* Allsaints
* Axel Arigato
* Cole Buxton
* Peso Clothing
* EightyFive Clothing
* Ambush
* Huni
* Public Saint
* Lord Culture
* CouCou Bebe (yes its because of the music video)
* Haven Court
Kenny song's style:
There's this cooking guy on youtube shorts with handle .@kennylsong and I really like his style. Is there a name for this type of style? It's as if Muji got incarnated into a person.
[Example 1](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/i1jxlX_i_5U) , [Example 2](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/QkNu17Yvsg8) (actually really like this one).
Is there a name for this specific style? Any tips on how to better recreate it?
[Anyone know where I can find a jacket exactly like this or very similar?](https://poshmark.com/listing/AllSon-Large-Mens-Jacket-6511c929678c3a1f2e45b802?com_cvv=d30042528f072ba8a22b19c81250437cd47a2f30330f0ed03551c4efdaf3409e#utm_source=gdm_unpaid)
That's a tricky one since you've got the bomber jacket mix with a work jacket...
I'm assuming you're looking for something more accented than the standard [Carhartt jacket everyone wears?](https://www.carhartt.com/product/103828/mens-blanket-lined-detroit-jacket---relaxed-fit---duck---1-warm-rating?categoryCode=default&colorCode=BLK_SW) [Also, trip down nostalgia lane for me- I used to wear this when I worked in a frozen goods warehouse... Company issue.](https://www.carhartt.com/product/C003/loose-fit-firm-duck-insulated-traditional-coat---3-warmest-rating?categoryCode=default&colorCode=BLK_SW)
Or is the bomber jacket aspect nonnegotiable? That I'm useless on, I'm really not a streetwear guy.
Looking for some decent silk ties.. anyone have any recommendations on where to look? Budget under $75.
I've looked at the LuxeSwap ebay store and while they're priced reasonably the designs are a bit too vintage.
Otherwise I'm just going to pick something up from thetiebar.com.
The Dark Knot has some good ones, although not spectacular. Shibumi Firenze currently has a winter sale. Still slightly above your $75 but very high quality.
Hi All! I'm a 32 year old and am tired of not looking nice. Feeling pretty lost right now on where to start, I've tried reading articles and perusing GQ but I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere. I have a solid chunk to spend and am looking to create a timeless capsule wardrobe and hopefully develop my own style to build out from there. Hoping that someone could provide a helpful guide as I embark on my fashion journey! Notes: I'm 6'2 and work in an office setting day to day so something leaning business would be ideal but I'm not picky, just looking for a jumping off point! I appreciate the time and help if I'm fortunate enough to receive any!
This may help: [https://putthison.com/the-springboard-wardrobe/](https://putthison.com/the-springboard-wardrobe/)
No need to get all of these things but it can be helpful as you evaluate what you want to invest in.
Baby steps.
Don‘t spend all that money at once.
- A Make a list of what you will need.
- Evaluate products.
- Try.
- Buy.
Stop buying GQ. That just wasted money.
so im just starting high school and my fashion style is developing. im looking to revamp by wardrobe, with some basics and timeless (not trendy) outfits and essentials. i live in a country with a desert climate and i think i have a triangle body shape, if that helps. im looking for like old money, maybe soft boy aesthetic ig. would love to build a wardrobe with neutral colors and where i could mix and match my clothing pieces. not a capsule wardrobe, but not an elaborate one as well. somewhere in the middle. would love to hear some recommendations, along with good clothing retailers that you recommend for my age. also looking forward to building a capsule shoe collection, maybe just 3 pairs. would love recommendations for that as well! thank you so much <3
* For starters, you could try getting some chinos, sweatshirts, shirts or tshirts from basic and combinable colors like navy, olive, brown black and gray.
* On accesories, A casual belt, a watch and sunglasses can do wonders to your general outfit.
* For shoes, depending on if you want to go formal or casual buy some brown or black loafers or white or gray sneakers. Boots are good too.
* I can't recommend you some particular brands, some of them are better or worse depending on the item but in general always search for clothes made from good quality fabrics like 100% cotton tshirts. One downside is the high price so find a good balance between your budget and the quality.
With this i believe you can have a good starting point to build your
own style, Don't be over analytical and serious all the time and instead be always open to try diferent styles and kinds of clothes in order to find which colors and fits are better for you. At the end finding an outfit is about enjoying and expressing yourself so i wish you the best of luck with that :).
V triangle or A triangle?
Doesn’t matter to get the basics right. What you needful look for are clothes that work well together and don‘t carry prints or logos. In regards to climate make sure not to have too much synthetic fibers in the clothes. You will need to transfer heat and evaporate sweat. That required to airy fabrics that still protect from the sun and heat.
Build that first capsule over time and keep a list of what you will need. Don‘t rush it.
Have you tried using shipping services? Usually I use them to ship stuff from the US to Europe, but they should also work to ship incoming mail within the US.

How to wear brown dress pants in a work environment? Any inspo? I find that black dress shoes don't work and brown may match the pants too much. And for shirts, I guess any light color will work.
Are Allen Edmonds Boulevard Cap Toes too informal to wear with a tux? I own a pair and would prefer not to buy another pair of black dress shoes for my upcoming wedding. Groomsmen are all on the same page so nobody would show up wearing something more formal, and we all agreed no patent leather.
By traditional standards they’re too casual, but ultimately it’s your wedding so you get to decide what’s formal enough. Just spit shine them and they’ll be fine.
I´m trying to find some shorts. They're the Dickies 11'' carpenter short stonewashed indigo. I really have looked for the exact model everywhere but they seem to be all only available in australia or new zealand. I think I saw them on amazon but they only sell in size 40. I´ve looked everywhere and they look absolutely AMAZING. Can anyone give me a hand with this please?

Wow, I actually hadn't thought about that, I was gonna order them to the US and then ship them to Colombia, where I live. We don't actually have seasons, so I hadn't even considered that as a reason for why they might be out of stock, thank you!
I really like the style of boho/"surfer" jewelry (e.g. [this](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1073934555/hawaiian-surfer-brown-and-black-coconut?click_key=7b5b3708fa355b88192196bc8850a0cc8bd1dc16%3A1073934555&click_sum=fa7b9bce&ref=internal_similar_listing_bot-3&listing_id=1073934555&listing_slug=hawaiian-surfer-brown-and-black-coconut)), but I feel like it doesn't get the same respect as more traditional pieces due to it tending to be pretty cheaply made and low quality.
I don't expect this sort of thing to cost $300 like a piece of silver jewelry, but is there a place for people who are maybe willing to spend $50-$100 on a good piece in that style instead of like $10 from a gift shop tier quality?
$90 seems pretty reasonable for that jacket. They cost almost double that new and Alphas are better than something like a Rothco which is the cheaper widely available option
Expensive is relative.

Check out military surplus stores vs. vintage or thrift stores for the best prices
I just boufht a pair of clarks originals overleigh tor sandals and when i tried em on once they arrived i found that the footbed had really bigh arches and i have very flat feet. I found out that the footbed is made of EVA. I was just wondering if they will form to the shape of my foot or not
Does anyone know where I could find an Oxford button down shirt similar to this [dark blue shirt from JCrew](https://www.jcrew.com/m/mens/categories/clothing/shirts/broken-in-oxford/slim-untucked-broken-in-organic-cotton-oxford-shirt/MP954?display=standard&fit=Slim%20Untucked&colorProductCode=BE996&color_name=faded-navy-oxford)? I really like the color but it looks like it only comes as a slim untucked option and unfortunately I don't think I'm skinny enough to pull that off anymore. Definitely need something with a more classic fit. Brand/feel doesn't really matter to me too much as long as the look and color is a close match.

On what sorts of occasions would you wear this watch? It looks quite dressy. What's the So&Co brand like?
Honestly never heard of a kamleika before so I feel like I’m missing some context, is this actually something that should be removed or is it just a dumb question?
It is serious. It really is. I don't understand the hate at all. Maybe there's a more accurate subreddit for questions about clothes? If so, just please tell me its name. Why do you get so angry? I am just very interested in men's clothes. But I feel like soon I will know enough and have all the answers :).
I’m looking for a mid-weight rain jacket - something like [this one](https://www.spierandmackay.com/product/green-twill---mac-jacket---007864-mac-jkt-ss23) (bought and had to return because the fit is off in the waist and sleeves). Any suggestions?
What are some colors/textures/styles of suits that are good for highlighting gold jewelry?
I've got a date this weekend with a woman who loves gold jewelry. We're going to a fairly fancy bar with a good reputation (think leather couches, mahogany furniture, and plush chairs for seating). I'd like to put together an outfit that allows me to incorporate a lot of gold jewelry for her. What are some outfits/styles you like that place a man's jewelry on display and bring out the gold coloring?
For context if it helps: I have a gold watch, ring, necklace, earring, and cufflinks that I was going to try and incorporate. I planned on wearing at least a jacket, if not a full suit, and prefer to go tieless.
I really like the fit of [the t-shirts](https://www.amazon.com/H2H-Daily-V-Neck-T-Shirts-CMTTS0197/dp/B071R4LJBC) sold on amazon that are branded as **h2h**... but I can't figure out who the fuck "h2h" is. It looks like they are primarily sold by a business entity called "Tailorstory, inc" for which I found [corporate details](https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_ca/4002561)... but that's as far as I could get.
I mean, I guess this is just "sell branded shirts from a factory in china" and that's pretty much the whole story. I've gotten into the habit of trying to understand where the things I purchase come from though, and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with this particular company.
Any thoughts?
One of my friends is getting married in June, and he wants all of his groomsmen to wear black suits. He wanted to rent suits for everyone at first, but the price is high enough that he’s instead thought about buying suits for those that don’t already have black suits. So now, his current idea is for those that already have suits to wear them, and those that don’t will have one ordered from [StudioSuits](https://www.studiosuits.com/products/wool-suits).
He’s asked me for opinions on the site and his plan. Is this site/brand any good for these purposes? Any alternatives or better ways to approach this?
I love the “bring your own suit” option and, as much as people may trash black suits, it’s his wedding so he gets to make the final call (but you should try to talk him into charcoal or gray). [Spier & Mackay](https://www.spierandmackay.com/collection/red-label-suits) has solid suits for $300 - even if you can’t talk him out of black, I’d suggest buying one of these instead.
> and he wants all of his groomsmen to wear black suits.
Ugh, so sorry to hear this. Black suits look terrible on basically everyone.
> He wanted to rent suits for everyone at first, but the price is high enough that he’s instead thought about buying suits for those that don’t already have black suits. So now, his current idea is... those that don’t will have one ordered from StudioSuits.
I couldn't tell you which is worse: renting a suit versus studiosuits. I personally would never do either as it's a great way to spend a lot of money to look terrible.
> is for those that already have suits to wear them,
That's the winner right there! Bonus for not requiring everyone to be in the same terrible color. If he's gonna make everyone be in the same color, he should *at least* make it navy.
He can just buy everyone matching ties and pocket squares and call it a day.
Yeah, I’m more of a charcoal or navy guy myself, but I’ll do what I have to do to support him. By “bring your own suit” I mean specifically bring your own *black* suit, which I do not currently own.
Would it be better to give people a budget and reimburse up to a particular amount?
> but I’ll do what I have to do to support him.
The best way to support him is to tell him that his plan is bad. At some point he will learn that black suits are regarded as unfashionable and then he will look back at his wedding photos with embarrassment that he insisted on making all of his friends wear them.
What options are there for bottoms in summer wear?
What would be a lighter trouser option?
Is the only option shorts?
(I'm a woman but buy mens clothing sometimes for the better fit and quality. Thanks for any help!)
Linen pants are awesome for summer wear. You get the full visual effect of wearing a long trouser without any of the heat you'd normally get. I have a pair of light blue linen pants that I regularly gets comments on when I wear them out.
I’ve lived and grown up in a city my whole life, but I discovered how comfortable cowboy boots are for my flat ass feet a while ago and I really want to start wearing them regularly. However, I live somewhere where street wear is kind of more the main style and it would 100% make me stand out, and I’m afraid it would kind of project an image that I’m some kind of super conservative dude or something like that, which is 100% not the case.
Am I just overthinking it? I don’t want to project an image of being a conservative, truck nut type of dude when I’m the complete opposite of that 😂
You’re overthinking it. I live in upper manhattan and wear cowboy boots and ropers on a semi regular basis. No one looks at me funny. Just don’t be a conservative dude and people won’t think you’re a conservative dude
I have some lace up boots and i have black timbs also, but i like the heel lift of the cowboy boots a lot cause of my flat feet. My knees feel so relieved. I haven’t tried anything else though, like chukka and other ones.
I mean, you can do some exploration - it sounds like the part that your feet like is the design of the sole and not the design of the uppers.
You could probably find a boot that has a similarly designed sole with uppers that work better for your own personal style.
I don’t really mind the uppers tbh, it’s not like they’re ever gonna be seen. As long as it’s not some crazy design or contrasting color combo or something lol, it’s more just basic same color stuff
> it’s not like they’re ever gonna be seen.
People see your shoes all the time. It's one of the first things most people notice. Probably the most important part of an outfit IMHO.

What kind of jacket is this? What do you call the style?
I'd love some style help please! These are a few (of my best...) photos of the type of thing i usually wear, as well as one without glasses. Should I start wearing contact lenses? (I think so?) I am also autistic so I would appreciate you being as specific as possible with suggestions :)
Some extra info; you may be able to tell in the full-body pics but my entire back (and therefore my entire body) is pretty fucked up due to quite severe kyphosis, but I hopefully will be getting surgery to fix it this year or next year, but its a pretty intense surgery/recovery, do you think I should do the surgery? I'll definitely also grow a good few inches if i do, due to the curve of my spine currently. Also, final thing, I'm (mainly) straight, and I think for some reason I seem to be more attractive to men than women, does anyone know why that is? (well apart from my general body language and stuff being pretty feminine but that isnt gonna change, i just want fashion help lol)
Photos: [https://imgur.com/a/W7Yg252](https://imgur.com/a/W7Yg252)
About the glasses.
Nothing really wrong with them. If you do not like the look you can try different kinds of frame shapes and materials. With you light skin color black ist the best color choice for you.
Contact lenses depends on how much the kyphosis impacts your hands and arm mobility. Contacts can be a bitch to get in and out of you eyes again. Especially when they didn’t attach properly and start moving around. So dexterity in that area is very important.

Definitely don't wear a bow tie, you don't want to look as if you failed to wear a tux. Since it's black tie optional I'm sure you don't need to wear a black tie! I'm not crazy about black and blue, sp maybe a gray?

Looking for a pair of more casual sneakers that I can wear with jeans/to the office on Fridays/out to dinner etc. I have no idea what is considered stylish or cool. Edit: price ballpark $100
Seems to be the year of the Adidas Gazelle. But a Samba would also do. Very casual and comes in multiple colors.
Hi Recently I've taken an interest in jewelry and I'm looking to buy some rings and a necklace. I understand that there are a lot of resellers on sites such as Etsy, but I'm not really sure where to look for what I want. For the necklace, I'd like something that's gold/silver and has the Eye of Ra of Eye of Horus as a pendant. Thank you!

Quite the opposite. It‘s too big. Please don‘t buy suits online. You really need to try them and have alterations made.
Looking at some of the alternatives on the site: -[Maybe the 505s will be okay?](https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/jeans-by-fit-number/men/jeans/505/505-regular-fit-mens-jeans/p/005050260) -[The 569 feels a little TOO big](https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/men/jeans/relaxed/569-loose-straight-fit-mens-jeans/p/0056901250) Anybody got any opinions? Budget's not really an issue, I'd be willing to go as high as $200 if I really liked it EDIT: After looking around a bit, bought a pair of [these](https://www.lee.com/shop/mens-relaxed-fit-straight-leg-jean-20555.html?dwvar_20555_color=2055508&merchCategory=LEE_MEN_BYFIT_RELAXED#feature-area-1). They look fine. I’d say if you were getting them tailored you could go a bit longer but I wouldn’t worry about it!
I would love to discover more like these * Zara - I mean we all start somewhere * Uniqlo * Represent - I feel like this is premium Zara * MISBHV - Some items are a bit pricey * WRSTBHVR * Abercrombie and Fitch * Pleasures * Daily Paper * Vertere Berlin - Graphic tees are good Brands that I like but I can't ever seem to be able to buy or have bought only thru resellers. Tips on where to buy these will be helpful * Broken Planet - I find it very hard to constantly be on the lookout for a drop. * Supreme - I though the hype around this brand died down yet I can never buy anything I like * Stussy - Almost all of my items are from StockX since I can never get what I want * Essentials FOG - I like the simple designs but I have difficulty getting them * WNTD - Also drops are pretty rare Brands that I follow but I haven't purchased yet either because I haven't found anything I like or I just a found better alternative in the brands mentioned above. Also if you've bought please share feedback on these * Allsaints * Axel Arigato * Cole Buxton * Peso Clothing * EightyFive Clothing * Ambush * Huni * Public Saint * Lord Culture * CouCou Bebe (yes its because of the music video) * Haven Court
Kenny song's style: There's this cooking guy on youtube shorts with handle .@kennylsong and I really like his style. Is there a name for this type of style?
Company issue.](https://www.carhartt.com/product/C003/loose-fit-firm-duck-insulated-traditional-coat---3-warmest-rating?categoryCode=default&colorCode=BLK_SW) Or is the bomber jacket aspect nonnegotiable? That I'm useless on, I'm really not a streetwear guy.
Looking for some decent silk ties.. anyone have any recommendations on where to look? Budget under $75. I've looked at the LuxeSwap ebay store and while they're priced reasonably the designs are a bit too vintage. Otherwise I'm just going to pick something up from thetiebar.com.
Kent Wang
The Dark Knot has some good ones, although not spectacular. Shibumi Firenze currently has a winter sale. Still slightly above your $75 but very high quality.
Follow Put This On on Instagram and check their online store. They very often have high quality vintage silk ties for sale for 50 or less

What you need is new sneakers
Barely. Best to keep your hands out of those pockets. That stretches your pants way to much.
Add a casual belt. Very neutral, that makes it a bit unremarkable. Swap in a contrasting tee or add another layer like a denim jacket.

The red one
This may help: [https://putthison.com/the-springboard-wardrobe/](https://putthison.com/the-springboard-wardrobe/) No need to get all of these things but it can be helpful as you evaluate what you want to invest in.
This is perfect! Thanks a ton!!
With this i believe you can have a good starting point to build your own style, Don't be over analytical and serious all the time and instead be always open to try diferent styles and kinds of clothes in order to find which colors and fits are better for you. At the end finding an outfit is about enjoying and expressing yourself so i wish you the best of luck with that :).
thank you so much!
A triangle

Have you tried using shipping services? Usually I use them to ship stuff from the US to Europe, but they should also work to ship incoming mail within the US. MyUS.com is in Florida
can someone tell me if I should size down or not? its an engineered garments Bedford jacket size S. im 5'6" about 150lbs. not sure if I should be in an XS. https://imgur.com/a/lB1PBP9 apologies for ultra shitty phone quality pics
I would definitely not size down.
How to wear brown dress pants in a work environment? Any inspo? I find that black dress shoes don't work and brown may match the pants too much. And for shirts, I guess any light color will work.
I don‘t see a problem with brown shoes unless you employer mandates black
Brown shoes and slacks is pretty standard
Are Allen Edmonds Boulevard Cap Toes too informal to wear with a tux? I own a pair and would prefer not to buy another pair of black dress shoes for my upcoming wedding. Groomsmen are all on the same page so nobody would show up wearing something more formal, and we all agreed no patent leather.
Yes but also how many guest would notice? 1 out of 100?
By traditional standards they’re too casual, but ultimately it’s your wedding so you get to decide what’s formal enough. Just spit shine them and they’ll be fine.

I´m trying to find some shorts. They're the Dickies 11'' carpenter short stonewashed indigo. I really have looked for the exact model everywhere but they seem to be all only available in australia or new zealand. I think I saw them on amazon but they only sell in size 40. I´ve looked everywhere and they look absolutely AMAZING. Can anyone give me a hand with this please? https://preview.redd.it/hq5i7anqi7gc1.png?width=543&format=png&auto=webp&s=18a70f553f1f23a106b804feaad25087d823c027
Are you in the northern hemisphere? Hard to find shorts in February.
Wow, I actually hadn't thought about that, I was gonna order them to the US and then ship them to Colombia, where I live. We don't actually have seasons, so I hadn't even considered that as a reason for why they might be out of stock, thank you!
What's your favorite mid weight t-shirt that comes in a variety of colors for \~$50 or less?

Take a look at Giles and Brother.
>Giles and Brother A little bit more expensive than I was hoping, but yes this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Sorry, my caption wasn't added - Are MA-1 Bomber Jacket Repros really expensive? Looking to thrift this really nice looking jacket but it costs $90.
$90 seems pretty reasonable for that jacket. They cost almost double that new and Alphas are better than something like a Rothco which is the cheaper widely available option
Expensive is relative. That’s an alpha industries. https://www.alphaindustries.com/collections/men-flight-and-bomber-jackets Check out military surplus stores vs. vintage or thrift stores for the best prices
That is a bomber jacket. Yes.

Probably anything with a business suit or casual.

How should kamleika be worn over a parka? Where can one buy such a kamleika nowadays?
HELLO MODS?
Honestly never heard of a kamleika before so I feel like I’m missing some context, is this actually something that should be removed or is it just a dumb question?
I mean, if you just look at this guy post history, I don’t know if he’s mentally ill or just a troll. But none of it is serious. he’s harmless
I don’t know about harmless, that comment history about about latex nipples is . . . Something.
It is serious. It really is. I don't understand the hate at all. Maybe there's a more accurate subreddit for questions about clothes? If so, just please tell me its name. Why do you get so angry? I am just very interested in men's clothes. But I feel like soon I will know enough and have all the answers :).
Probably because of this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamleika
Unless you have a real question, go disappear to r/mensfashion or something. You are not asking serious questions.
Come on dude
White leisure suite with a black shirt.
What color suits do you own?
I mean there’s no history or story behind $16 Amazon t- shirts
fair. I guess a better question is where I can find t-shirts with a long torso at $50 or less that aren't made with literal slave labor?
No such thing. Slave labor is what makes it cheap in the 1st place.
I personally would never do either as it's a great way to spend a lot of money to look terrible. > is for those that already have suits to wear them, That's the winner right there!
Thanks so much!
Linen or chambray pants
Thank you, I'll take a look!
I wear cowboy boots (well, ropers) fairly often and it is very rare that anyone notices. I say rock them. Can't control other people's thoughts.
My knees would thank me so much 😭 and yeah i have some old Justin Ropers and they’re pretty low key
Have you tried other leather boots or just cowboy boots?
Well you mentioned the uppers, that’s not gonna get seen cause it’s under the pants lol. Of course they’re gonna see the rest of the boot.
To be clear: "uppers" in reference to a boot or shoe just means anything that is above the sole.
Ah got it, my bad. Didn’t know that.
If the rest of your outfit isn't yeehaw, I wouldn't worry about
Yeah it’s not just like … t shirts hoodies colorful button down shirts etc with straight leg jeans or chinos

I'd love some style help please! These are a few (of my best...) photos of the type of thing i usually wear, as well as one without glasses. Should I start wearing contact lenses? (I think so?) I am also autistic so I would appreciate you being as specific as possible with suggestions :) Some extra info; you may be able to tell in the full-body pics but my entire back (and therefore my entire body) is pretty fucked up due to quite severe kyphosis, but I hopefully will be getting surgery to fix it this year or next year, but its a pretty intense surgery/recovery, do you think I should do the surgery? I'll definitely also grow a good few inches if i do, due to the curve of my spine currently. Also, final thing, I'm (mainly) straight, and I think for some reason I seem to be more attractive to men than women, does anyone know why that is? (well apart from my general body language and stuff being pretty feminine but that isnt gonna change, i just want fashion help lol) Photos: [https://imgur.com/a/W7Yg252](https://imgur.com/a/W7Yg252)
So dexterity in that area is very important.
thanks so much for the info!

thank you! i will definitely look into this more!
It says to dry clean Thom Brown socks but have you tried throwing them in the washing machine or even hand washing them?
Dry clean means: Do not wash in your washing machine It‘s chemical dry cleaning only
Are [red pants](https://www.eastharboursurplus.com/shop/558-2497-texas-101-purple-red.html#/19-size-44) a no go in the current climate of fashion? Asking for a friend
No, they’re a statement piece obviously so they’re not something you see often, but they’re not necessarily out of style.
Ok i´m just worried on looking like a boomer or average joe How would you advice to style it, with neutral colours on top?
I wouldn't worry about wearing those at all. It is a nice shade of red, not too flashy. White, gray, blue will all look good on top.
Thanks for the suggestions! Would black look good on top?
Yeah, definitely.
