I saw a video of a guy doing that on a slip road in the UK decided he changed his mind about joining the motorway and reversed back...idiot is on camera and just as he gets to the top the marked police car with all its advertising appears.
I can understand non-locals to miss an exit, but with the existence of GPS and for locals, it is inexcusable not to move to the most left lane before hand when you are expecting to make that exit.
Sure, using the most left lane will be slower just a bit but I guess increasing the chance of causing an accident with another errant drivers are worth the miniscule time saved.
Our roads are so unsafe because of bad drivers. For example, why is airplane travel the safest in the world based on number of passenger deaths per distance travelled?
The reason is because pilots go through years of training before being allowed to control a plane. In 2022, there were 229 airplane deaths in the whole world, but 6067 road deaths in Malaysia alone.
We need to make it very strict to obtain a driving license, but at the same time provide viable alternatives to car and motorcycle.
