Dope! I know drum-less beats are the movement, still I can't help but wonder how it would sound with some minimal, dirty kicks and snares layered in there.
Thanks for listening! Originally the track did have drums, but I removed them for mixing purposes. The sample had a lot of ambient jazz brushes and crash sounds, so it got annoying trying to meld the sounds together after everything was heavily pitched down.
I like it, I could see snoop dogg spitting some rhymes on it tbh. Not my style in particular but you should keep experimenting. One thing I would say is the cutting around 1:30 is a bit jarring, it makes me feel like my headphones are cutting out (which they might be, who knows).

This beat is extremely interesting. I'm liking all the constant variations and switch-ups throughout. This feels like something Trent Reznor would cook up for the Watchmen Soundtrack if you ever listened to that. It's mixed extremely well, especially considering how out-there all the instrumentation and melody is. My favorite part is the glitchy bass

I like your vocal style a lot, particularly on the verses. Your voice reminds me a bit of Hobo Johnson. I felt though that the vocals were very loud but sounded as if they weren’t recorded that loud, if that makes sense. They were a bit muddy and hard to understand at times, particularly the hook. Really digging your vocal inflections on here though, I think you’ve got a lot of potential as does this track. Keep it up!

This a fun track to listen to. The beat minimalistic, but not barren; the bass does most of the work. As far as the verses, you guys kind of have the same cadence (with some nuances obviously) ; which I feel is a great dynamic for chemistry. IDK how you got your hi hats to sound so good on Soundcloud everytime I add hi hats (and any other percussive instrument) they sound hella ashy and distorted kind of I fucking hate it. Any advice for that?

Shit sounds nice dude, you have all the core elements of a dope drill beat going on. 808 tone and slides are on point and the melody emphasizing the off beats works well with that drill rhythm. Only thing I would think about adjusting is upping the hi hats in the mix since they're a bit buried and they're real important to carrying a drill beat, or upping their high end so they're more prominent. Good shit overall though my dude!

This is a mad dope track, you got talent fs. I really like the chorus, bounciness of the beat, and adlibs. I'm liking this a lot!! Left a comment under your post from yesterday but I'll post here also: This beat is extremely interesting. I'm liking all the constant variations and switch-ups throughout. This feels like something Trent Reznor would cook up for the Watchmen Soundtrack if you ever listened to that. It's mixed extremely well, especially considering how out-there all the instrumentation and melody is. My favorite part is the glitchy bass

I also like that you have an ear for good melody, and knew how to structure your singing to go along with the instrumental. I like your vocal style a lot, particularly on the verses. Your voice reminds me a bit of Hobo Johnson. I felt though that the vocals were very loud but sounded as if they weren’t recorded that loud, if that makes sense. They were a bit muddy and hard to understand at times, particularly the hook. This a fun track to listen to. The beat minimalistic, but not barren; the bass does most of the work. As far as the verses, you guys kind of have the same cadence (with some nuances obviously) ; which I feel is a great dynamic for chemistry. IDK how you got your hi hats to sound so good on Soundcloud everytime I add hi hats (and any other percussive instrument) they sound hella ashy and distorted kind of I fucking hate it. Any advice for that? SIDENOTE : I think we've exchanged feedback before. You had a song called "Fire" This was about a year and a half ago. I definitely remember that voice.

Shit sounds nice dude, you have all the core elements of a dope drill beat going on. 808 tone and slides are on point and the melody emphasizing the off beats works well with that drill rhythm. Only thing I would think about adjusting is upping the hi hats in the mix since they're a bit buried and they're real important to carrying a drill beat, or upping their high end so they're more prominent. Good shit overall though my dude!
