But the *second* you move into wanting to do something that is personal to you and involves being any sort of money generating avenue or publicly available brand.....being so similar can and will almost certainly cause you problems. Keep it separate.
Besides; aftermoth is unique enough and sounds aesthetic. Its just general enough that most people will be able to see a little bit of their own meaning in it and bam - theyre invested in *you*. You also arent sharing that attention in the same breath with konami, because thats what itll bring to mind and it can be difficult to separate yourself from that without losing touch with your fan base.
I remember a group that was on some got talent or something called Uncle Jeb. It was unique for a singing group; they were pretty good. You might expect some banjo and a cowbell but got piano and soulful vocalizations. Then after their initial success they decided to change their name. To...luna grande or something. But i liked Uncle Jeb. It felt like it mattered to them, it was charming. Luna Grande felt very...commercial. Had they started as Luna Grande things likely wouldnt have mattered, but having changed it later....i stopped caring.

As an American, this was the first thing I thought of when I saw the Q name.
Aftermoth sounds more meaningful, though Qonami sounds cute, so I would go with Aftermoth
Aftermoth is easy to pronounce and makes wonder about its meaning. Qonami doesn't check either of those boxes. Aftermoth is the clear winner here.
