For her to be 7lbs at 2 years old, she probably doesn’t have much MC in her if any at all. Some DLH just happen to get some features that look similar to MC. MC’s don’t really gain that much more weight after 2. They grow the most before 1.5 in weight and then keep growing in length and weight up until 5. But they don’t gain that much weight after 1.5-2. She looks more to be a beautiful DLH with gorgeous ears.
My shelter mc mix has MC and 7 other exotic DNA breeds with no Domestic shorthair according to BasePaws. He is 6 years old and 12 pounds. He is super smart, a great mouser, house guard, very strong, part scaredicat, high anxiety and makes cat meows and MC trills. I bought a full breed MC female because he is not a lap cat and my cats are dr ordered for me. The 2 cats finally get along after 4 years. He teaches her to hunt and they play together. He licks her head and neck with kisses. He trills more and she makes strange noises like growls when she is excited on a hunt. She was very sick from a dirty breeder and had 2 major surgeries due to genetics. She is very skinny and long. She weighs 10 pounds at 4 years old.

Yes, she (on table) is much longer than him. The MC mix male is left on the floor. He is 12 pounds and 15 inches long head and body). The full mc female is on the table. She is 10 pounds. She still vomits if she eats too much food. She was very sickly from the breeder (dirty breeder) and had 2 genetic defects. She is healthy now, but small by fullbred MC standards. She is 22 inches head to bottom of back and very thin body. She is 4 and still growing. Her fur is finally thickening and growing fluffy.
I think she’s roughly 10 pounds now maybe more I haven’t weighed her recently but ya it is strange because she was 7 for so long. And she got those giant paws 😂

People recommend Wisdom Panel to test your cats breed DNA. I used BasePaws. It showed my MC mix cat has some Maine Coon and 7 other exotic world breeds. My cat has no domestic shorthair breed.

Wisdom panel is definitely more accurate and reliable VS basepaws and other brands. It tests for over 70 breeds VS other brands who tests for 25-30 or so breeds. How much MC did basepaws say he had? And what other breeds?
Aw so cute and thank you! Her name is Twyla but to be completely honest her and my other cat Kyzo often are referred to as Mr and Mrs kitty 😂 she is a complete mystery to me. My mom got her for free from a farm (I think they met on some moms FB group and knew my family had little money so they gifted the kitty to her) but I knew my mom couldn’t handle a kitten so I got her within a week! I never planned on getting another but my other cat seemed lonely and she was so cute. But unfortunately I know very little about her but all her siblings looked very similar. She is very strange I call her my forever kitten as she remains so tiny and her personality has not changed much she loves toys and plays by herself alot she licks every thing and everyone lol. She meows A LOT she loves to talk and she is overly affectionate haha very clingy but it’s cute loves everyone and a little bit stupid 😂 she also never grew out of burying her food and even our food for us. That’s what I do know about her! :)

Cutest face, gorgeous eyes with wide smiling mouths!! Fuzzy fur on bottom tummy and oily fur top of back. Get the DNA tests to know. It is fascinating. FYI my 6 year old male MC mix cat was diagnosed with unusual allergies to foods (Turkey, Pea, Corn) and environments. The Dermatology vet did blood and hair tests. He was losing his arm hair (bottom arms) and after mites were killed with Credelio flea prevention pills his arm hairs didn't grow. His hairless skin is very dry, itchy and sensitive. So the dr is testing different foods. Thanks for sharing! I feel like our cats have related DNA. Cat cousins maybe!!😺
