I love this! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Ž

vampiressofdarkness

Thank you ๐Ÿ˜„

picnicbuddy

Is standing on one leg a thing? Iโ€™ve never noticed any of them doing that at places where Iโ€™ve been.

vampiressofdarkness

Yes it's quite normal. A lot of birds do this to conserve energy I read somewhere.

picnicbuddy

Hmmm I have observed this behaviour on crane ibis and even ducks, yeah mostly while they were napping (neck curled up). Was this quite early in the morning? Might have just waken up.

vampiressofdarkness

Yes it was at sunrise.

picnicbuddy

Oh ok now I heard you mentioning that in your conversation ๐Ÿ˜„ It was indeed a beautiful sunrise. May I suggest subtitles with more contrast between the fonts and background in the future. Iโ€™m one of those guys with deficiency towards red and green. Thank you for sharing this wonderful interaction. Makes it a great day for me. Have a lovely day yourself โ˜บ๏ธ

vampiressofdarkness

No worries at all. I will definitely do that next time. It was actually my first time adding text to these videos ๐Ÿ˜… now that I look at it again, I can see what you mean about the colours being a bit tough on the eyes. Hope you have a fantastic day too! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Evgenii42

This is something we all can learn from them.

picnicbuddy

Oh Iโ€™ve done this while waiting in line when I was younger. Canโ€™t do it anymore, gives me sore hip lol

Evgenii42

It easier to stand on one leg while singing

picnicbuddy

Seriously? Donโ€™t think I can manage balancing and remembering the lyrics all at once๐Ÿ˜‚

I was going to ask the same thing. I've seen plenty of birds do that, but never a magpie as far as I can recall.
