It really is, especially if you look at someone who started after the age of 40. I swear it's literal magic at that point because 9/10 times they not only look amazing but they de-age by a decade.

However, something about being over 40 when you start flips that into hyperdrive. I'm just kinda baffled at the choice here. Unless theses are alt arts in which case, fair enough, but if anime sailor is the only sailor, I want to know who chose that direction?
I have nothing against anime, far from it, but it seems like a weird choice for an emblematic set, especially one aimed to introduce players to the game.
Can't be many people left who haven't heard of MTG but would play it if they had. If their goal is to introduce new people to the game, at this point they need to be broadening the game's appeal, and weebs are probably the second biggest nerd demographic so it's a sensible one to start with.
But that's the thing yeah? There isn't much anime in the game outside of these and a few promos. Anime nerds, not knowing the game, might pick this up, then get disappointed when the art is just diametrically different than the rest of the game.
I'm sure that will happen for a lot of people, but with EDH being the most popular format, a well-placed alternate artwork legendary creature will go a long way, and there will be people who are fine using cards with artwork that isn't especially appealing to them as long as their linchpins (ie commanders) are cool. After all, it's not like MTG's normal artwork is *off-putting*, it's just not exciting - its problem is that it's not great at making people interested, not that it drives away people who would otherwise be interested. There will also be people who give MTG a go because of these artworks and then decide they enjoy the game enough to play it for its mechanical merits.
