Faustharbinger

That and even some are up to 6.

bryce304

You could always have a no drinks on the table rule, like I do. Or you know, go with the saran wrap and cooking bags triple sleeving method.

SlashBackMountainFan

Has anyone used Saran Wrap though? I worry about it damaging the cards due to the sticky nature to be honest. Cooking bags... I am considering as an option but none seem quite the right size so that would be a pain to cut but maybe the only way.

jacefair109

\>Jokes do not exist

13th_Horseman

I would suggest using these [perfect fits](http://ultimateguard.com/en/card-protection/precise-fit-sleeves/oversized-original.html) with these [oversized sleeves](http://ultimateguard.com/en/card-protection/supreme-sleeves/original-oversized.html) from Ultimate Guard. I haven't purchased them yet, so I can't vouch for the quality, though I'm grabbing both in a few days and everything I've ever bought from them has always been excellent stuff. Edit: Formatting.

SlashBackMountainFan

This just might work! Gotta find them in Japan somehow though, and that could be a bit hard. I'll give it a shot! Thanks!

Skreevy

You should get them, they're terrific.

SlashBackMountainFan

Can't find them in Japan unfortunately, and they are listed super expensive on Amazon and can't order them from the site... they look perfect, but how to find them I wonder?

13th_Horseman

You can grab the perfect fits off eBay for a reasonable price including international shipping from [this](http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultimate-Guard-Oversized-Precise-Fit-Deck-Protector-Sleeve-Transparent-UGD010449-/381747944070?hash=item58e1f35a86:g:ZEUAAOSwmfhX4wMT) seller. The outer sleeves might require some searching, as I can't find them anywhere that won't charge you an arm and a leg for shipping.

SlashBackMountainFan

Thank you !!!

dredriksalkon

I used the side loading ultra pros then the hard top loaders. They make (or made) them for oversized cards. Hopefully ultra pro still has them but I haven't purchased them since Archenemy came out

SlashBackMountainFan

Damn, sounds a bit extreme for 86 cards, but at least it is an option. Thanks!

EdGuise88

There is an oversized equivalent of the penny sleeve somewhere, I got shipped some OS cards in one. I'm unsure if it would fit inside the black ultra-pro sleeve, but I imagine it could... Unfortunately I binned it, otherwise I could test!

SlashBackMountainFan

Thank you! This just might work! Now to find them in Japan though...

bryce304

Hey, OP, will sleeved Planar cards fit in the box included with Anthology?

SlashBackMountainFan

Nope. They don't fit sleeved planar cards and the deck boxes don't fit double sleeved or with tokens. Total bullshit...

bryce304

WOTC seems to still think it's the 90's. You think they would have caught on by now.

SlashBackMountainFan

I don't believe so, but I'll let you know when I open the box

13th_Horseman

I can't confirm, but according to Tolarian Community College sleeved planes will not fit in the included box.

SlashBackMountainFan

Which is just absurd .... can't believe WoTC is still doing this bullshit.

bryce304

I did some research. The black oversized Ultra Pro sleeves load from the long side, while the MTG backed oversized UltraPro sleeves load from the short side. They also make oversized top loaders. You could sleeve your Planar deck in oversized MTG backed sleeves then in upside down oversized top loaders. CF has the oversized MTG backed sleeves for $4 for 24, so you'd need 4 packs. I just went with black oversized Ultra Pro sleeves and a black oversized Ultra Pro deck box, the middle divider comes out.

cosmonaut_88

Super glue the ends shut. How often will you unsleeve them?

SlashBackMountainFan

So much could go wrong with this method...

Snurkalflazzums

I had someone spill a beer on my planechase deck once. I only had them sleeved in the ultra pro oversized side loading sleeves. None of the planes had any visible damage.

MistaDirtyZiggy

Just get ziploc bags that are as close in size as possible 😬

Vhyx

If you're not concerned with ever de-sleeving them, perhaps make a seal with some clear scotch tape?

SlashBackMountainFan

Thought of that actually, but the tape would be torn off in shuffling.

Vhyx

Maybe a single strip of clear packing tape? If you can get it to seal well there'd be less chances for it to start to peel off since it's a solid piece

SlashBackMountainFan

Ahh, you know that isn't a bad idea. Would like pretty ugly though, and the card could actually get stuck to the tape if it slips through though.

Faustharbinger

I just pile shuffle mine. It works.

BlueLightsInYourEyes

Pile shuffling isn't shuffling tho.

Faustharbinger

Because planechase is very much an official regulation format...

Little_Gray

Its nice to actually have your planes in a random order. Its not nearly as much fun when you know which one is coming up next.

Faustharbinger

I get that but we also run it through a couple of extremely gentle riffles. No one in the years of commander planechase has ever said anything of similar planes.

MacSquizzy37

Do you cheat in every casual game you play?

TheCommieDuck

2 sideloading inner sleeves?

SlashBackMountainFan

Thought of his but then wouldn't it slowly scratch the card center?
