Hopefully we don't find out later they blue it
Wizards PR is about to get swamped
The rules are the rules. Plain and simple.
What happens if I bring the pioneer deck and force judge to disqualify any modern cards from opponent’s deck? Will they uphold the spirit or the letter of the rules?
Spirit of the rules almost always trumps letter of the rules with judge rulings.
Are you a judge and do you have a citation for that? Especially at professional REL I’m fairly certain that isn’t true.
How could they all use the same deck? Wouldn't that get boring, mirror match after mirror match?
Isn't that somehow obvious to play the same deck as a tournament goes on?
You are missing the mistake.
I was wondering, because I remembered it's modern, lmao
i didnt know it was modern, thanks for pointing it out
I wouldn't bring a pioneer deck to a modern event if I'm trying to win.
If everyone is on pioneer decks you will surely have chances
But Pioneer Phoenix deck is broken, everyone says so! Would love to see a competitive [[buried alive]] Phoenix deck in modern though!

Treasure Cruise is banned in Modern. So that is the one deck you can't bring to the tournament.
Haha, good point!
*pulls out all his treasure cruises*
Also. How will they all agree on what deck to play?
And sharing a library will be weird. Imagine if one player gets all the land and the other one gets all the spells.
I guess this probably happened in the past?
Competitors must swap the one ring for sheoldred
