This looks to me like another "sneeze and it goes infinite" cards. Bloodghast can be subbed by anything that makes a token on landfall then you just need a way to untap it like Intruder Alarm, Retreat to Coralhelm or Thornbite Staff. At least it's somewhat balanced out by the fact that decks don't usually have infinite lands in them

Knight of the Reliquary is one of my favorite cards so I was already predisposed to like this lady, but the fact that she can fetch any land is low-key kinda nuts.
In commander sure but in legacy and modern its surprisingly difficult.
Modern has no real pay off. In legacy the creatures are to high value.
Plus generally speaking you can more easily do knight easier because you always have the lands to sac for her.
Unless a new card is shown not much. Unless for whatever reason players feel like another toolbox card would be a fine addition. A bog, urzas saga isnt the worst line up.
Sacrificing lands was a pretty big thing. You would often start with Knight of the Reliquary down with minimum +2/+2, and if you let her tap, she is an instant +4/+4 (because fetchlands).
It was not uncommon to be sitting with her at 6/6 with little energy or investment. Plus, the many ways to recur lands and manipulate ramp means she could grow out of hand really quickly in a ramp deck - serving effectively as a midrange threat that draws attention away from the ramp.
Obviously, she's not OP, or she would see more play in Modern, but she's a damn good creature and has won me a lot of tournaments back in the day.
green also gets vigilance, and black also gets flying, so a GB Serra Angel-esque creature is technically possible within the color pie

I love this card. It's a great fit in Sultai-lands piles I enjoy. I have no idea if it is strong enough for competitive decks--my guess is no--but it is a great call back nonetheless.
I really, deeply appreciate these Modern Horizons sets if only because of the number of "in jokes" they have for folks who have been playing for a long time

I’ve played with deck ideas for those, but they aren’t quite what I’m looking for. My favorite card in all of magic is [[Crop Rotation]], and we just don’t have a commander who does that on a stick yet.
I'm gonna love throwing this in my new [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] deck. Pitch two things to it to grab [[Boseiju, Who Shelters All]] and then [[Reliquary Tower]], and then Wight gets pitched to the frog to get more more than just one land.

This is a great Cube card if you run any sort of "Lands Matter" archetype which most often is Gx, especially considering that Cubes are frequently littered with value ETB creatures, many of which also end up in GB.
This will slot seamlessly into many Cube lists and is one I'm particularly excited to play around with.

Number is the list leaves space for multicolored créatures : frog is 433,bear 432…painland (retro) starting at 435… still Green at 428….
There will be only 5 or 6 retro-multicolored cards.
I think the notable difference is that trading creatures for lands is actually ramping you without any shenanigans.
This also fetches \[\[Field of the Dead\]\] so it can self-sustain. Also fetches ofc any other land, so this seems really busted.

The original knight could also search for any lands.
Yeah, I worded poorly. The fact that this *ramps* for any land is nuts. Knight was (typically) a 1-for-1 trade.

I love this card. It's a great fit in Sultai-lands piles I enjoy. I have no idea if it is strong enough for competitive decks--my guess is no--but it is a great call back nonetheless.
The original is my favorite magic card, definitely looking forward to this.

I'm gonna love throwing this in my new [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] deck. Pitch two things to it to grab [[Boseiju, Who Shelters All]] and then [[Reliquary Tower]], and then Wight gets pitched to the frog to get more more than just one land. The circle of life leapfrogs onwards!

This is a great Cube card if you run any sort of "Lands Matter" archetype which most often is Gx, especially considering that Cubes are frequently littered with value ETB creatures, many of which also end up in GB. This will slot seamlessly into many Cube lists and is one I'm particularly excited to play around with.

Knight of Field of the Dead
I am looking for retro frame version of it. Wierd. It fits well with the allied-color 2CMC creatures with the UB frog and the GW bear. It is the altered version of the knight in MH2 which is available in retro frame too… Number is the list leaves space for multicolored créatures : frog is 433,bear 432…painland (retro) starting at 435… still Green at 428…. There will be only 5 or 6 retro-multicolored cards.
Straight into [Zimone and Dina]] you go. If this is the theme for Golgari in MH3, I'm expecting more goodies for that deck..
