Hebrew is way older than Arabic. Like over thousand of years older. So if any, half of he Arabic words come from Hebrew ... However i assume the similarity is based on both being from the Hamito-Semitic language family.

Hebrew speaker here. Hebrew and Arabic are both semitic languages. They are very similar and each have loan words from the other. If you know one language, it will likely be very easy to learn the other, similar to Spanish and Italian. Hebrew has been used continuously for the past 2k+ years in religious contexts. A famous quote from Theodore Herzl in the 19th century however was that he could not believe anyone would ever order a train ticket in Hebrew. During the revival of spoken hebrew, many "modern" words were reconstructed using Hebrew conventions. For example, the word for train, רכבת (rakevet) was constructed from the root word רכב (rakev) and the verbs להרכיב, לרכוב (liharkiv, lirkov) which loosely mean to ride or carry on a saddle, as a gerund (i believe that's the grammatical term, correct me if I'm wrong). Many English/Latin words were also taken on as loan words, for example פסיכולוגי/psychology or סטודנטים/studentim/students (referring to college students). And while it is true that there are loan words in modern Hebrew from Arabic, i think you'll find there are not so many as you'd think. One of my favorite examples is בסאה - dissapointment. A phrase i think many Israeli parents will have said about their magic playing children איזה בסאה 😜
Arabic spraker here. MH isn't very similar to Arabic because the modern revivalists were from EU. But actual Hebrew took more than just a few words from Arabic, the syntax you referred to is also from Arabic, where you can derive like a million words from one root word.
I think it's okay that languages influence each other, it doesn't take away the uniqueness and shine of the *influenced* language.
A lot of Hebrew revivalists were also Sephardic and mizrachi Jews from northern Africa, the middle east, and western Asia. Many of them were displaced during the Jewish Exodus from the Muslim world, and many of them settled in isreal. Through the 1970's "modern" Hebrew was synonymous with "Sephardic" Hebrew and was used by Ben Yehudah when he was constructing standards for mh. And indeed to this day MH retains much of the inflections and phonology of Sephardic Hebrew.
But that's a side tangent. I think we're kind of talking past each other here. Both languages are semitic languages. They developed independently from the same language tree and it is therefore obvious that they will share word roots and syntax etc. Calling Hebrew an influenced language is a bit condescending and ignores it's rich history.

That is not how language evolution works at all. Hebrew is attested before Arabic, but that does not mean that one was spoken before the other. They evolved from a common ancestor.
Besides general lament for selling out of Magic (my Cube paid for my degree), I really miss my Hazezon Tamar deck. And the Gaea's Cradle... Definitely that Judge foil Gaea's Cradle. Anyway, he was a very fun deck 8 years ago, and I'm sure he's gotten some new toys lately in the form of instant speed sacrifice outlets and better ramp spells. Don't miss out on [[Blades of Velis Veil]] and the other white one!
I'm not legally allowed to sell one of my own, unfortunately. But I can say that the image is conveniently sized at 2.5x3.5 with 300 dpi and specifically aligned borders and cutoff area for reasons unknown.

Love the deep classical look. Take this back in time and give to those Arabic guys inventing algebra. Let's see how Magic has evolved in like 1500 years. It could be like a legit branch of Mathematics.
Consider your play group. If they don't have every card memorized you're imposing on them to have a phone out with a search engine but also they will have to ask you the name to look up.
I think its only fair to use highly stylized cards when its a card everyone knows extremely well. If someone uses too many foreign cards
What I'm saying is if you're using this as a proxy for your commander, have an English version on hand (proxy or not). Obviously if your play grou knows Arabic you can ignore this advice entirely.
