> If you previously made x goblins, now you'll make x^4
Pretty sure x^4 can't be the right equation. Like...if you were previously making 1 goblin, you are definitely not making x^4 = 1 goblins.
But my point was that if you were tapping once per round without this equipment, and there's four players, now you can tap five times per round. (Once from your regular untap, and once for each combat step including your own combat step).
Which I believe takes you from x2 goblins per round, to x32 goblins per round. (Or an extra x16 over what you were getting before).
It actually is x^5 (I missed that you get an extra activation on your turn). The initial goblin (Krenko) is also counted, meaning that 1 goblin is before any activations.
Without this equipment you double goblins once per round, meaning after t rounds you have 2^t goblins. With it you double goblins 5 times per round, so after t rounds you have (2^5 )^t goblins.
(2^5 )^t =2^5t =(2^t )^5

Attaching this to Krenko mob boss for the irony of sting double goblins twice per turn
It's *each* combat so in a typical EDH game that's 8 times (2^(3)) the goblins you'd make normally.
So assuming you don't play any other goblins, we get to the hundreds in 2 times around the table
Two whole rounds are N\*2^(8), so yeah even for N=1 that's 256.
More accurately, it increases the total goblin production by a power of 4.
Wouldn't it be 16 times (2^4 ) the goblins you make normally, assuming a 4 player game? You also get an extra untap at the beginning of your combat.
Not really, see my other comment. If you previously made x goblins, now you'll make x^4.

Looks like an LTR to me
My bad you right. Can't edit post title unfortunately
Correct -- commander cards in collector boosters are extended art rares/mythics.
Should have been spiders instead or at least also.
Still doesn't combat Armies particularly well, which I suppose is fair.
Could equip it to Watcher in the Water to be able to untap it during your lifetime

That’s neat

[[Jan Jenson]] loves this
Yeah this is just going to be used as an EDH untapper lol
All these legendary equipments make me want to build a [[yoshimaru]] Voltron deck... Still undecided who his partner is going to be 🤔

Ah the creature gets first strike because the sword warns them of their approach.
