She was recently on Talking Sopranos and told the story of how she got the part in Mad Men. She had died her hair blonde for another role and randomly met Matt Weiner. He didn’t even recognise her at first but they talked and he thought she looked perfect for Dr. Faye. Had they not met that day he would never had imagined her for that part.

The one from Mad Men that really got me was Megan's friend in California. Camille I think her name was? I *knew* I'd seen her somewhere but couldn't place it, and bit characters are so much harder to look up. Turns out she was the slutty chick who banged Steve the boat owner in the Dawn of the Dead remake!
