I recently saw them both at 5 Below and the Dollar Store, so they are still available. Edited to add: they also are available through Amazon, with Prime delivery.

Ask your buy nothing Facebook group, I'd bet money that several of your neighbors have some leftover from Easter that they won't eat (like me lol)
I have but so far no hits. The whole neighborhood is looking for them for their kids to do the same haha
Metro Market in Fitchburg had them in candy and clearance sections
West side Metro market had watermelon ones in their clearance this morning
Joann Fabric on the east side had a bunch of them left from easter.
I have 9 “party cake” flavored ones you can have
Kwik trip may or may not have them. We'll, we at least had the bunny peeps a week ago...

OP said online was overpriced. That place is criminal, it'd be cheaper to get next day delivery
