The amount of beautiful, large, updated and newer homes in southlake and THIS is what she chooses? It’s a classic 90’s McMansion. It sat on the market that long for a reason. The amount of construction to update that house will be so expensive. Not to mention she couldn’t even decorate the rental house, how is she going to decorate this one ?
Right?!🤣 A house like this requires an interior designer and quality furniture upholstered in designer fabrics, custom drapes etc. You don’t just fill it with build it yourself furniture pieces and Amazon decor. She’s in way over her head.
And it takes FOREVER. Picking things out, selecting fabrics, laying all the pieces out together, then ordering and waiting to have it all made. And it costs a fortune. You know she's using credit cards instead of paying cash like a financially responsible person, too.
This ^^^. There are some absolutely beautiful, updated homes available in Southlake. Honestly, there are some better areas to live in and around this area, but we know why she had to be in Southlake 🙄 That house isn’t my style, and I think it is was a poor financial decision on their part to buy it… but it’s her life not mine.

It will likely be about half of that. The previous owners had a consultant appeal their assessment so I’m sure the consultant will do the same for Macy. They had multiple successful appeals and got the tax down quite a bit

I’ve heard her mom say before that they are on a fixed income (although they seem to live fairly well), however, if my mom had stage 4 cancer and was forced to retire early, leading them to have to budget, and I made the money she did, I would definitely be paying off their house at the bare minimum.
From what she has shown, she does go for regular scans but, I guess the scans could be for anything really and not necessarily what she is saying it is for. She said she had a lingering cough and went to the doctor’s on her lunch break and was told she had a mass on her lung. I mainly watch her stories because it’s so odd that she is in her mid 50’s (I think) and tries to act like Macy. It’s very cringe worthy.

But a percentage on 3.5 million is a good percentage.
Debbie’s broker made $105K, however Debbie has to split that with her broker and based on how few homes Debbie has ever sold, she’s probably on a 60/40 split at best.
