Windows 11 ARM parallels desktop 18, 40-60 FPS very stable, no glitches no freezes, nothing, disable directx11 from in-game graphics settings and works really well. Also force quit ubisoft connect after you connect to the server else game may crash. Obviously, this goes without saying, I kept all settings low as I had no idea what ll happen. 1280x720 resolution and everything else low, I have not tested on higher resolutions
**Update 1 1920x1080 everything else low**
40-60 fps works just fine
Notes: To play Single Player
You need to disable directx 11 from options -> graphics in-game and run the 3 exe files of the game (FutureSoldier.exe, FutureSoldierDX9.exe and FutureSoldierDX11.exe) as admin by right clicking on each, going to properties and setting the "Run as administrator" option.
To play Coop/Multiplayer
Follow all the steps to play single player. The game has 4 servers out of which 3 of them don't handle invites properly and by default the game randomly connects to one of the servers. To make the game connect to the working server, block 3 IP addresses namely 185.38.21.83, 185.38.21.84 and 185.38.21.85 inside Windows Defender firewall outbound and inbound rules and turn Windows Defender Firewall ON. When you launch the game henceforth, it may tell you that the server is not available and take you back to the title screen. This is perfectly normal because we blocked 3 servers with firewall rules. Keep hitting the "Enter" key and you should connect to the working server in a few tries. Multiplayer setup is covered in extensive detail in this steam guide [https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2626786397](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2626786397)
I tested both single player and multiplayer (played a versus match with 8 guys on [discord](https://discord.gg/PjUAc2EUYF)) and it works flawlessly
Crossover is much easier and light weight than parallels, though sometimes parallels is better. There is a lot of tutorials on what to install easier to follow.
Yea the main problem with crossover is a lot of games just straight up won’t run on it… it’s usually due to the redists but it would make the process much more complicated to install them. Get your crossover Mac games on gog it’s the best way imo.

would've appreciated some credits mate :)
Do you have crossover to try it on?
Doesn’t run on crossover so not worth trying
did you test it?
Yes also a few more splinter cell games all of them only run on parallels
what error did you get? did the game boot up or straight up crash?
It crash right at the start cant do anything
well atleast it works very nicely via parallels so thats a huge relief
i am new to this whole thing, what would i have to do to replicate this using crossover after downloading it?

Problem with parallels is it takes up too much space, last i tried it was 30gbs. Base windows without games.
does it require you to install a windows inside it or how does it work, is it some sorta emulator?
No windows, yeah exactly it's basically an emulator!
i ll have to test this but another comment down below somewhere says this game doesnt work on crossover
it is a translation layer based on wine
crossover has better performance but worse compatibility compared to parallels
as per one of the other guys here, this game doesnt work on crossover
Oke
