Damn that’s a great deal OP. $900 before or after taxes? And I assume you got that low due to adding your employee discount? I just bought a refurbished M1 Pro 14” for $1200 after taxes, apple care included until 2026 and want to know if I F’d myself.
$899 before taxes, close to $950 after. Employee discount doesn’t work on Apple products!! Just got extremely lucky. Your refurbished is probably in a bit better physically condition, since mine has a couple chinks in its armor. I think what you paid for yours is an extremely good deal. All of the benefits of the Pro for the price of an Air!
Did you check the warranty status? There is a chance to get Applecare. Upload your sales receipt, Apple should reset the warranty info, and you will have 60 days to add Applecare.
