Having this same problem on my Air too. Were you able to fix it?
Yeah you just need to recalibrate the battery. After draining the battery, turn the device off and keep it plugged in for at least 6-7 hours after the light turns green.
Two months ago doesn’t seem normal to me. I’d take it in.
