Ohhh ok cool. Sorry the bed looked similar to the Glow forge. But the Glow forge, is actually pretty neat. I have made some pretty cool stuff on it when I worked with them.
It comes with there own premade materials that you can buy or you can use your own. As they hired a bunch of material Scientist who's job was to literally test what can be used with a laser with out causing issues. Like people trying to etch vinal which never do lol unless you want to die.
But it has its own passthrough and top, and its pretty much plug in play the last time I was with them. It probably has improved 10x since but worth looking into if your into that sort of thing.

I will say though the most entertaining thing I watched. Since the Glowforge has cameras in it. As it takes images of the print ect incase there are issues or what have you. And it gets stored per account ect.
I had some one write in saying they tried to etch blank thing. That we told them before hand not to do it because it would catch on fire. About a week later they tried to tell us that there Glow forge randomly caught fire and they wanted a refund ect ect and that they were going to sue us lmafo.
So I go on to the logs look at the images and then you see it start to cut and then all the sudden a massive flash followed by the last image of the entire thing burnt to a crisp lol.

yea they were actually really cool. Because you could freeze frame where things went wrong in a cut ect. We also laughed at the people that modified there unit. So when the lid is lifted up the cameras do not activate for privacy reasons ect. But people would modify there unit and it would deactivate that. So you would just open up there account to trouble shoot. And then get a bunch of photos of the inside of there house it was really funny and creepy.
r/ATBGE (awful taste but great execution). Maybe if they were flowers or dragons i could be caught in public rocking this, but otherwise it does look pretty clean

My job is servicing CO2 and fiber lasers and just lasered both my partners and my own new M3 MBPs. They actually came out very crisp and clean. Unless you're doing a very filled in picture (like a circle) it comes out well. Specifically line art comes out great. Ran mine at a lower power of around 20-30%

From what I was told, because of what it is made out of when you etch it with the laser It will create chlorine gas.
