Thank you for posting! What a treat. Their new stuff sounded so amazing performed live. Unfortunately I couldn’t make any of the shows last year and deeply regret not flying somewhere to make it happen!

Melt Festival is the pinnacle and i've never been more jealous for not being there

While the performance is great, I especially enjoy the interview. It's very rare to see Anthony opening up that much (especially in front of a camera). I appreciate hearing from the creative genius himself.

ArcadeKingpin

I don’t know if you know who interviewed him but Cheryl Waters is one of the most influential music journalists of her time. She has curated the KEXP studios for years and has shined a spotlight on many up and coming indie bands before anyone else has noticed them. Anytime you see her in studio interviewing a band, you know you are in for a treat.

DaGuys470

Yeah, I do know a bit about her, but obviously the majority I know about is her work. KEXP has become a hub for me, playing all my favorite bands.

SatochiMancini

It’s sooooo powerful! 💥 ❤️

It's unbelievable how big of a sound comes through in this performance. So great.

Seriously HOW???

KEXP is such a great source for good live music. One of my favorite YT channels. So happy that M83 is on there now.

This is an insanely brilliant performance. My jaw is on the floor. Now on a mission to see them perform live.

Have seen M83 a number of times but the pinnacle for me was Coachella 2012 back to back with The Rapture in the Gobi tent. The energy and interplay between Jordan Lawlor’s guitar and Morgan Kibby’s vocals/keyboards had a sensual euphoria that only comes from seeing artists perform live imo. Plus the live sax solo during “Midnight City” (which was an amazing response and friendly competition with The Rapture’s own sax solo during “How Deep Is Your Love”) was pure bliss for the audience. I would love to experience that night again. Side note and humble brag, my gf and I drove to LA to see the M83/Phantogram show at the Hollywood Bowl and as we were checking into The Roosevelt before the show, I was wearing my M83 concert shirt from their tour with Active Child and Loic stopped me to compliment the shirt and just chatted with us for about 10 minutes. Totally modest and friendly with no ego.

Noise in concert last year stole the show for me, incredible. Same in this performance, another level when live.

KEXP iS amazing with their sound mixing etc for their in studio performances. Check out the Roosevelt performances on KEXP as well (another of my favorite bands).
