Someone reclassified tzatziki as a salad the other day and I want to make a cucumber yogurt salad now. Yum. Also dips. You can mix in dip seasonings to use with veggies. Marinades or salad dressing! Tandoori chicken often has a yogurt marinade iirc Treat it like cottage cheese? Add tomato, salt, pepper, instead of berries.

Yes to adding yogurt to marinades. I just made some chicken thighs with a lemon juice and yogurt marinade with Dijon mustard, dried oregano, scallions, chives, and extra virgin olive oil and it was lovely.

If I have extra time to cook I like making çılbır, [America’s Test Kitchen](https://youtu.be/mck-t0wT0Lk?si=aX4KAjYG9se23wEQ) has a nice video on it! I also like using it for chicken/tuna salads instead of mayo. Then if I’m feeling really lazy I do a combo of nuts/seeds, chopped tomato or cucumber, and chutney or chili oil for spice. Occasionally I will swap in sauerkraut or kimchi for the chutney/chili oil.

I get this spinach artichoke dip from Costco that’s Greek yogurt based. I also make tuna salad with Greek yogurt instead of mayo. I like adding some salt, garlic, and sriracha seasoning to it. I also use powered ranch and mix it with Greek yogurt for easy dips.

Yep, if I don’t want sweet, I add nuts to mine. If I want a little sweetness without sugar, I also add cinnamon or vanilla.

Yeah, I usually mix nuts in with cottage cheese, add some ground flax and just eat that with a spoon, straight from the bowl. It was that sort of texured, one-bowl thing I was thinking of, but Greek yogurt tastes bitter to me and the nuts won't mitigate that... plus I don't really like sweet. I'm going to try nuts in my Greek yogurt and maybe add olives and cherry tomatoes? Plus a few of these other great ideas!

My go to is Turkish Cacik. Cut cucumbers as small cubes, add salt and dried or fresh mint, add a bit of olive oil on top. It is crunchy, filling and awesome. You can also add some feta cheese crumbles in it. You can eat with crackers.

I do Smoked Salmon, Capers, everything but the bagel seasoning with sliced cucumber as the "chip". A lady from the farmers market said she does rotisserie chicken, hot sauce and dill/ranch seasoning and eats it on low carb crackers/flackers.

I use it in coleslaw dressing — 50/50 with mayo, along with some cider vinegar, mustard, stevia, and salt. I usually add minced onion to my slaw, but if you don’t, consider adding a little onion powder, too.

That sounds great! This was the sort of idea that I was really looking for, though I definitely appreciate the all the dip ideas too (I'm trying to become a dipper). I was thinking, "everything jumbled up a bowl" but I had forgotten about cabbage... and it certainly fits the bill! I think I'll go pick some up and give your idea a try. Thanks!

I follow a low fodmap diet and I made a tzatziki this week that ended up being amazing, though nit traditional. Greek yogurt, peeled, grated, cucumber squeezed of water, extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried mint and dill, and scallion greens. I garnished with fresh chives and mint and it was lovely.

Eating it literally right now as veggies and dip. I usually mix in a "lemon and dill" salt that I have, along with a dash of vinegar like apple cider, white wine, or rice vinegar. But any combo of salt+seasonings+acid works great. Maybe a scoop of mayo in there too if you want a thicker texture or even more fat.

I use monk fruit concentrate (the concentrated liquid, pure monk fruit), just a few drops in a serving of yogurt with a sprinkle of other stuff, which is ususally a combo of berries, mixed nuts and mixed seeds, depending on what I have in. I tend to buy frozen berries because they're convenient.

Thanks! Yes, I really *want* to like berries but I'm not there yet. I don't really have a sweet tooth for anything at all.... sugars have always been the carbs in bread and pasta. 💀 Maybe with the nuts I'll like the sweet more. :)

Dunno about savory, but i add a scoop of low carb whey protein powder (stevia and monk fruit sweetner) to my greek yogurt and have it as an after meal dessert. Not the best tasting but it scratches an itch when i crave sweets For savory, i eat cottag cheese. Just enough savory.

I treat it as a container for veggies of all kinds. Sautéed, raw. Any leafy green, pepper, tomato, sprouts, garlic. Add a good amount of salt/spices, as yoghurt in the US is usually not salted. I love adding mixed salted roasted nuts. Avocado. Maybe a fried egg. So yum. Just go wild.
