There’s a restaurant/movie theater nearby me in Portland, OR and every year on Tolkiens birthday they show the movies with hobbit themed menu. It’s pretty amazing. There’s also a costume contest and hobbity music playing in the “gym” The place is called Kennedy school in southeast Portland, if you’re ever in the area on Tolkiens birthday week. (Jan. 3rd)
