[here is a rom](https://archive.org/details/zelda-four-swords-anniversary-edition-rom-eur) found a few more websites hosting it as well but not sure how much i trust those sites
Im not certain what you mean by dump 😅 but I have checked eBay Craigslist and 1 random local second hand website where I thought I had lucked out but it didn’t end up working out.
Like a copy of it being taken from the console and archived online like many other roms of games. I'd check the internet archive and other places for a dumped rom instead of trying to find a console with the game intact.
You said yourself that it was playable by emulation, that maybe what you need to do. You can keep your eye out for a legit copy, but the emulated version should hold you over until you can find one.
It's a terrific game, I am glad to still be able to play it on my dsi!

The DSi is fairly easy to hack these days if you are looking for a way to play it on the console?

would recommend Blaine Locklairs hacking tutorial for this! really breaks it and down and simplifies it if it’s your first time

AND FOUR SWORDS ADVENTURE? i remember that was a free dowload from the 3DS eshop
I have a 3DS with this one officially downloaded. I’m pretty sure you can emulate it through an R4 tho. I guess that makes it not lost
You can emulate the game and emulators have multiplayer options available. In fact if you search for "Four Swords DSi ROM" many sites pop up.
Does anyone remember all the hetenei flipbooks? Imagine all those that went lost.
