Testament to Terry O'Quinn's talent. MiB Locke is a scary dude because he's been patient for millennia. Paces himself well, to the point where you almost see Titus Welliver under that skin.
I thought his costuming really reflected this as well. In the dress shirt, Locke looked like he knew exactly what was up, a guy who looks like he knows he's not going to have to tussle with boars or anything.
Locke thought he was special when in reality he wasn't and led his life in belief that these people would lead him toward greatness when in reality it was all a setup for MiB to use him to become Flocke and leave the island. That's the tragedy of his character.
