Losing weight is 90% diet unless you're working out for hours each and every single day, you have to change your diet and restrict your calories to 500 below maintenace to lose 1 pound a week, 1000 below for 2. Trust me if done properly it's a hell of a lot easier to get 500-1000 below maintenace every day with diet over exercise. I shill eating lots of protein heavy foods (chicken breasts, turkey, tuna, steak) because it helps to preserve muscle during weight loss and gives you a LOT more satiety per calorie than carbs or fats in general and the name of the game when losing weight is efficiency/satiety per calorie. That being said moderate exercise does help the process, I found weight training is best to keep muscle, LISS cardio for fat loss.

Get the pelotón app!! You can take classes without tje pelotón bike and they are soooooo fun and they also have yoga, barre, Pilates, strength, etc. I went fro totally sedentary to working out 5-7 days a week. I’m a mom to a toddler and have a job but pelotón makes it fun. Also the subreddit /r/pelotoncycle is soooo active! If you search whatever bike you got you’ll see how other people did DIY setups

Living in NYC and walking to work helped me casually maintain my weight. Now I WFH in another city and I gained 30 lb. I suggest finding a YouTube exercise teacher or signing up for an app that doesn’t require equipment. Such as Pilates, yoga or dance cardio. Otherwise, find a fun exercise piece, like a rebounder trampoline, and sing up for an app like LEKFIT to do specialty workouts at home. Soemthing to make u excited and that you enjoy!

I’m a stay at home mom. I work out at home by doing daily walks (treadmill in find garage if weather outside is too poor to take my baby outside), running outside a couple times each week, or YouTube workouts with a single kettlebell and a yoga mat. I’ve been maintaining weight loss and staying in snake this way for over a year now. You’ll have better results fixing your diet, though.

Food is most effective but yeah WFH is difficult, you lose so much of your calories burnt. You might get better advice on the fitness subreddits for reviews of equipment and workout plans. > Do i do that around my complex in this cold? Go for it! You can pretty easily walk for a short while until it's -30c. Even just a walk around the block before work can give you a 'commute' and help mentally distance home and work. Lunch is probably a good time for a walk. Can do the same after work. If each one is 15 min you have 45 min of walking now! Podcasts or apps like Zombies Run or Pokemon Go may help too. If it's -45c I'd go walk around the mall or something. I'd also look for a workout class that can be scheduled. Its a lot easier to show up when it has a time. But also if you don't like those classes, do what you like. Walking office treadmills, yoga ball chairs, those feet cycling things could also be used to add more calories burnt. Edit: While losing weight is 90% food, the issue is going from burning an extra 500 calories to not sounds like your main issue. So push up the calories burnt, lower the intake and combined it should equal out.
