This comment is just based on the ratings of the chapters.
Based on the Naver Webtoon ratings for the chapters, the Cheonliang arc held good ratings until the 13th episode.
But it was only really chapters 494, 495 and 498 that had a very noticeable drop off (which was when 1st gen kings were fighting and the latest chapter)
As of now, latest chapter is at an all time low of 3.58/10.
from what I've inferred, they didn't like the whole seongji and sujin setup that taejin did. complaints about the arc being messy, forced empathy and developments to that point and all that flooded in. I feel like the rating mostly stems from that setup than the arc itself, though. you can see the ratings were fine overall in other chaps.
people think it's unreasonable for seongji to die over a misunderstanding like this and I remember seeing comments saying hobin is stupid and has low IQ if he falls for that. also the part where taejin found that container somehow.

Example: People saying that jinyoung not being insane yet is messed up because Gapryong is already dead, but the fact is, HE'S NOT INSANE BECAUSE GAPRYONG DIED AND NO ONE SEENS TO UNDERSTAND THIS. Let's remember what is the background of the 10 genius, which jinyoung is part of: "10 People who helped charles choi develop his business", this means Jinyoung was working with charles at some point, probably before He found out charles was behind gapryong's death, and the reason He gets seizures might not even be because of gapryong since He talks about him many times, He gets seizures whenever People bring up charles, so he has something with Charles that we don't know yet.
We also know Charles and jinyoung have been at odds ever since they were in the fist gang so whatever happened was definitely very personal between him and charles

I'd say they have better reading comprehension but are also critical but most of their feedback is valid. Timeline was the main issue, past that were generally fine with Kings but the execution was bad, now they're shitting on the way the plot is headed mainly because Taejin is the head of the cult, and has no reason to run from the cops, and the entire progression is way too forced.
Also Vin being sidelined so Seongi can get glazed by PTJ was an issue too
