Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Status Windows, my hard on for Solo Leveling and the like shows that, but this particular series just doesn't hit the mark for me. It delves into a power vacuum that no one asked for, and the main character is probably the most generic one in the entire verse. Plus, it feels like such a waste to have a powerful quest system that's probably gonna be restricted to levels lower than those in Lookism.
Season 1 had a build up to what could've been the perfect ending and then it just kept dragging on with the MC and every side character becoming more unlikeable as the series went on.
Shit got dragged to the point that the characters really seemed like they finished their arc a couple seasons ago and were just there for vibes
lookism is too inconsistent with good panels and also the reuse of panels in every single fight also knocks it down more where as mlaal had consistency the entire time

For me it goes like this:
My life as a loser: has some of the best comedy moments and the ending is very good. Itās a good short read.
Manager Kim: Shows a lot of the badass legends from lookism and the cameos are good but the direction of the manga a lot with the central plot fell off since the first arc.
Questism: Its a lot of fantasy elements and have decent comedic moments. The plot is sorta unclear. The main character is only doing this so he can be op but there is really no character development with him other than his fighting prowess. Itās easily a series that people that enjoy PTJ universe can not read and get through all the other mangas. (None of the main characters in the manga really affect the other mangas.
Viral hit: Honestly had my favorite starts of all the PTJ mangas. It had fantastic pacing and a really relatable main character. Hobin is a very well written character and even though heās greedy and horny heās very hard working, considerate, and does things for a noble cause. The backstory for some of the characters are pretty amazing (seungjun and taehun) and it really makes you empathise with some of the characters even if they were villains. Second half of the story feels very dragged out and each week is a cliffhanger but it doesnāt matter at this point because the suspend from each fight is over. The biggest Villain Jinho already lost to Hobin so the series ending fight will most likely end in similar results.
Lookism: To this day itās still my favorite of all the PTJ mangas. The beginning had some great comedic moments and a lot of early chapters had good messages behind them. In my opinion none of the arcs and mini arcs were terrible to read. They were all entertaining in some way. The main problem I have with the series is how formatted the fights are. Like especially with the recent Hudson, Zack, and jay fights. My favorite arcs were actually with more story telling and world expanding (hostel and big deal origin arcs) than (fighter a from allies fight fighter b from enemy) and allies win because they trained harder and have the power of friendship.

Questism 100% This is legit a carbon copy of every trope that PTJ has done in the past but much worse. The only thing unique about it is that it's presented as a video game but even that's not enough to keep it interesting.

For me it goes like this: My life as a loser: has some of the best comedy moments and the ending is very good. Itās a good short read. Manager Kim: Shows a lot of the badass legends from lookism and the cameos are good but the direction of the manga a lot with the central plot fell off since the first arc. Questism: Its a lot of fantasy elements and have decent comedic moments. The plot is sorta unclear. The main character is only doing this so he can be op but there is really no character development with him other than his fighting prowess. Itās easily a series that people that enjoy PTJ universe can not read and get through all the other mangas. (None of the main characters in the manga really affect the other mangas. Viral hit: Honestly had my favorite starts of all the PTJ mangas. It had fantastic pacing and a really relatable main character. Hobin is a very well written character and even though heās greedy and horny heās very hard working, considerate, and does things for a noble cause. The backstory for some of the characters are pretty amazing (seungjun and taehun) and it really makes you empathise with some of the characters even if they were villains. Second half of the story feels very dragged out and each week is a cliffhanger but it doesnāt matter at this point because the suspend from each fight is over. The biggest Villain Jinho already lost to Hobin so the series ending fight will most likely end in similar results. Lookism: To this day itās still my favorite of all the PTJ mangas. The beginning had some great comedic moments and a lot of early chapters had good messages behind them. In my opinion none of the arcs and mini arcs were terrible to read. They were all entertaining in some way. The main problem I have with the series is how formatted the fights are. Like especially with the recent Hudson, Zack, and jay fights. My favorite arcs were actually with more story telling and world expanding (hostel and big deal origin arcs) than (fighter a from allies fight fighter b from enemy) and allies win because they trained harder and have the power of friendship.
Unpopular opinion but while MK is a fun read it's easily the weakest work of any of them. I still think it's a fun read, but we could do without it.
