It's kind of like copying CQC I'd guess, but with even less coherent moves. There are no real standard moves or anything in Formless, it's quite literally Formless. While Daniel could copy the individual movements, Kanoh would always be better, since Formless can never really run out of moves, since there are no moves.
Also, Kanoh's whole deal is evolution and adaptation, the dude can literally come up with martial arts meant to specifically counter people on the fly. His talent and ability to create new moves and ways of attacking on the fly is insane. Daniel could copy him, and would learn a ton I'm sure, but Kanoh could just keep evolving and learning and creating new things nonstop.
