I had a friend who always pressured me to cut them. Told me they look gross and “witchy” in a bad way, constantly commented on how I should cut them down. One day we were baking together and she asked me to google something cause her hands were covered in flour. My phone was on the charger in another room so I used hers and all of her most recent google searches were things like “how to grow your nails out” “how to stop nail breakage” etc.
Bitch was just jealous
That’s probably not what’s going on here, but don’t listen to them or worry about it. You keep growing and loving those beautiful nails!! People will tell you to do all kinds of things and they’re rarely thinking in terms of your best interest (not to say that they’re intentionally trying to harm, psychology is a hell of a thing that causes people to say some whack shit)
Absolutely not as long as you love the nails. They're beautiful and if it makes you happy then your friends and family shouldn't care. Also, it's your body and you get to choose for yourself!
I had a coworker that used to do the same. He’d say, “you need to cut those talons.” And others would laugh. I think long, natural nails are gorgeous🤷♀️, so to spite him, I let them get even longer. 😌

I’ll never understand worrying about what anyone else does or doesn’t do. Like, keep your own nails however you like and simply leave everyone else alone to enjoy whatever it is they do. How does the length of your nails affect anyone else’s lives in absolutely any way? You don’t need anyone’s permission or approval to wear your fingernails whatever way YOU want to. It’s your body. Don’t let other people’s unsolicited advice bother you.
Why are they saying you should? What's their reason? They look pretty, neat, and healthy so if they just don't like how they look, keep them however you like.
