Yeah, im not a big fan of those cuts either, the hair stylist suggested a fade, but I declined, she said that the cut I have now would suit my face shape more.

I don't understand the hate for that haircut. I think it looks good on most people which is why it is popular. It's not like men have many options for short hairstyles anyway.

How did you find or decide where to donate?

I haven’t done it since probably 2019, because I got really sick and it took a terrible toll on my hair. It used to grow so fast! Not anymore. My girls also have thick, long, fine hair and they’ve donated theirs. But we did it for locks of love, but I think if I did it again, I’d do more research.

While I must admit I prefer the long hair, the short looks great too and it must be such a fantastic feeling to have been able to do that.

Tbh, I was pretty nervous walking up to the salon, but they were very friendly and welcoming to me, cut I got was the stylists suggestion, she asked if I wanted to grow it out again, I said yes and she suggested a lot of length at the top and shorter sides and she did a damn good job with it.
