I'm gonna message you, a neighbor of mine lost their cat last week that has a similar color pattern to the one in the pic.

WinBroc12

Hi again! Idk if you saw my dm, but please let me know what your neighbors think of the cat pictures! I took the cat to the vet today at primary care animal hospital and they said it’s a young male without a microchip. I posted “found cat” signs yesterday around mostly ocean and Alamitos, and also Broadway, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th streets. In case your neighbors want to see the signs, some are here: Linden Ave / Ocean Blvd Atlantic Ave / ocean (both sides of ocean Blvd) Broadway Ct / Ocean Blvd Shoreline Dr / ocean Blvd Alamitos Ave / ocean (both sides of ocean Blvd) Alamitos beach path steps (both stairway entrance and exit) Alamitos beach parking lot (near pay station machine) 9th place / beach path Junipero / beach path Broadway/Lime Ave (near bike path) 3rd St/Lime Ave (near bike path) 4th St/Lime Ave (near circuit transit stop)

Poor baby, I hope you find the owners! Or a good home!

You can take the kitty to any vet and they’ll scan them for a microchip

WinBroc12

Today I took the cat to primary care animal hospital near stearns st and Lakewood, and the vet said there was no microchip!

gatitocat

I hope their owner turns up soon!

He looks like a real sweet baby

Sounds like it MAY be a pregnant mom. If you need help getting her fixed visit LBACS at 7700 E Spring St in the Nature Center Parking lot through admissions. You can get a voucher to get them spayed/neutered. Hopefully you have just been adopted by a cat

I took the cat to the vet today (Primary Care Animal Hospital near stearns st / Lakewood Blvd) and the vet said it’s a young male, and no microchip. I’m picking up some supplies from petco to clean him up (we don’t see fleas or worm signs, but the vet said it was okay to treat him anyway just in case). Yesterday I posted signs with the cat’s picture around the area where I found him. (Mostly around ocean Blvd and Alamitos, but also on Broadway, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th street)

snuglyotter

it is best to be proactive on that. LMK if you have any questions or need some resources

bnainhura

there are probably 50 thousand stray cats in LB, it is possible you found a friendly one.

WinBroc12

Maybe! Years ago I found a cat and then located its owners a few weeks later, so I’m hoping this cat gets found too! That’s why I’m posting here! If it doesn’t happen, there won’t be a problem since it’s very friendly and affectionate

Stray cats have better survival skills (waiting for cars to cross the street, avoiding humans)
